v. 0.3.23 The rise of Betas
So this update started as a hotfix for last update but evolved into it's own thing. It brings some needed and cool visual/ux changes, plus one very needed change with traits - there's now 6 types of betas that player will ascend through on his way to be alpha.

Changelog:
1. New beta traits for player.
So the way the game was built, to become an Alpha you need to have balanced level of dom and love. If you go full dom or full love, you will become Cult Leader or Messiah, but you will not ascend to an Alpha. This basically meant that players need to stay more or less balanced throughout the entire game, which as a result meant - staying Beta almost until the end.
Now this is fixed!
Well, kind of. You're still beta for the most part... but it's way cooler! Check out the new traits:

• Wuss
• Doofus
• Beta Prospect
• Beta Male
• Beta Prime
• Beta Rex

You start the game as a Wuss, but as you ascend on the social ladder, you gain new beta skills, and finally, you're Beta Rex, one step away from the Alpha.
This is how it looks in-game:

2. Higher requirement to become an alpha.
Until now, to become an alpha you needed 20 levels (dom + love). From now on it's going to be 30 levels. Which means you'd be beta for longer... Sorry dudes, but becoming alpha needs to be hard. Hopefully, with new beta traits (Legendary Beta Rex FTW!) you'd still find it cool to follow the alpha path!
3. Effects in the sidebar.
One of the players suggested the idea to add effects also in the sidebar, so I did exactly that. This is how it looks:

This change might potentially impact the game performance, so let me know if you notice game working slow or something.
4. Exams for the masses.
Exams are no longer Early Access. Have fun!
5. Masturbation in the college toilets evolved.
So basically you will be able now to masturbate with the same features (choosing genre and toy) in toilets (in College and Market Center)!
6. UI changes to the player stats screen.
I've noticed that the level up mechanic is unclear and people are unsure why after going full love, it's so hard to lvl up in dom (and the other way around). Basically - it doesn't matter if you lvl up in dom or love, the price each time goes up in both. So basically if you go full love, it will be hard to go back, because the lvl ups will be very expensive.
Anyway, I've added info about the cost of next level up to the player screen to make things more clear. I've also moved some stuff around. This is how it looks:

7. 3 stars give 100% hint chance in College
Basically, so far having 3 stars in a particular class gave player 75% chance to get a hint about an answer during test. Now this chance is raised to 100%.
8. Info about being under influence
I've edited the information that appears on top of the screen about playing being under influence. It basically was connected to the visual effects. The thing is - those effects were not alway happening from drugs/alcohol, so I've changed the descriptions to be more general.

Other bug fixes
9. Another popup fix
So I've fucked up last time, and the popups on desktops were kinda broken. Now it should be fixed, the popups should be adaptable to the screen size.
10. Saves popup on title page fixed
There was an information about needing to finish current event first, which was unnecessary on title screen anyway.
11. Shitload of other stuff

Small suggestion: Maybe the "current effects" could be displayed directly without having to go into the character menu (for example below the character portrait)? I know it´s just one klick to go in there but it makes a difference. ;-)

Check the latest update , 0.3.23, I've added the effects on the sidebar.

This should be fixed in the newest update (0.3.23). Find a hooker and police station should now be early access, but exams are not early access anymore (I unlocked them).

PPS: Another what i am found - when you are doing exams - here no marked answers even if you are knew the answers from 3 Maximum Stars knowledge

Check the newest update (0.3.23) - 3 stars now give 100%.

PPPS: another idea for you - in Prison - when you are "die a little" - need to add negative buff on that.

I'm still looking for this bug. If you can report me any situations where you didn't get any yields from button - it would be helpful.

Now came across this game and I must say I love it. The culture of the 80's and 90's brings back memories along with the jokes, not excluding the diverse culture in it to, which is right up my alley. Cracks me up . I more play it for the sneaky referencing . My only thing about the game is the grind but not that bad yet still bad, if that makes any sense. Other than that, I look forward to seeing this game completing. Also glad to see the dev active in the site and provide the game free also. Top notch in my opinion. Not to be boot-licking or anything. Will check out the subscribestar and see where this game goes. Good luck dev, this one is a winner

Dudes, I'll try to explain. I'm well aware that it's not very intuitive, but here's the thing - apart from being an off the rails gonzo style fucked up porn simulator, I wanted my game to have some real life value for dudes. And I believe that one of those values is - to stop seeing alpha male as a dude who just goes around, fucks ladies in the ass, and then moves to the next one at first opportunity (in game - going full dom path). My perspective on that is that guys like that are not really alpha.
Similar with the guys who go the other way - suck up to the ladies, being pushovers, always happy with what they got (in game this is maximum on the love scale). Just to be clear - I have nothing against any of that. Some people like to fuck ladies in the ass and forget about them, and some ladies like to get fucked in the ass and being forgotten. Some guys like to serve the ladies, and some ladies like a guy to serve them. Both of that paths are ok, both of them work, but none of them is alpha in my opinion.
Alpha needs to be balanced. He needs to be able to dominate, but he also protects what he loves. Alpha is about structure and family. Alpha is about making the world a better place, not through love or dom, but through both. He brings stability.
So - that's my perspective. But the game doesn't really require you to follow it. Just stay Cult Leader if you like. At the moment you don't lose anything. Maybe you'll get a different ending if we finally reach this stage, but for now - it doesn't matter.

Whoah dude, thanks for that. A lot! Like, I come here for feedback from my players and all, but when I read that I'm trying to shake the pockets of my players empty, it just makes me sad. Like - after reading couple comments like that, you really lose your interest to read any comments.
From my perspective - yes, I'm trying to make some money, obviously, but quite honestly, my first thought is and always was to make a good game for players. And I'm really putting a lot of time into making sure that things work, that things look nice, that things read well, and so on and so on.
So, I'm 100% for constructive criticism and feedback, but seeing that this guy just has a thing for trolling creators with undude comments really brightens by perspective. Thanks!
