I have continued testing these days and today it seems that it already works. Thank you.

Edit: I rectify. I have upgraded to regional and it keeps giving me the same error to hire people.

Edit2: Now let me hire people in regional. When it updates to national I will notify you if it fails.

Edit3: I've upgraded to national and it seems to be going well. Thank you.

When I download the MEGA file, what are my next steps to get the game to work offline on my laptop and iPhone?

I seem to be encountering a situation where no matter how many times I go to chemistry class I'm not getting any chemistry homework so I can't advance the main story of the chemistry professor. Any advice on how to deal with this?

Extract it using winrar, 7zip, ... and then open the html file with a browser

Pointlessly draconian and silly to restrict some of your game's content to only being playable at very specific times of the year. One of the weirdest pixel control flexes I've ever encountered in a game. Guess I'll wait to download until next October. Was a fun game for a hot minute, unfortunate to encounter.

you can use some commands in the browser console to achieve similar results

use inspect element, go to the console tab and type
JavaScript: 
SugarCube.State.variables.
and you should then be given a bunch of options to change, just start typing and it will auto fill stuff

Installation:

Load game

Select "Save/Load" on the left side of the screen

Select "Load from Disk

Select the save file from your downloads

Make a save in game

"Good" save follows the Love Routes and Police Route while "Evil" save follows the Slavery Routes and the Mafia Route along with Romi's Content.
