If F12 didn't work then try pressing and holding Fn (function key) and then press ESC and try F12 again.

You can activate the quests with console commands, but you will need to work out the variable names yourself since I don't know them off the top of my head.

Press F12 and go to the console and tyoe this:

SugarCube.State.active.variables

Hit enter and if done correctly you should see a list of all the game variables.
