There's actually a fair amount of dialogue that would have to be changed -- Mom, Grandma (she has a whole speech about adopting Mom and Aunt), maybe Aunt and Romi too? But I agree, it would be awesome if someone who knew HTML (i.e., not me) could do that. I could even do the writing if someone could just send me the passages that refer to step- and adoption and such.

Cheat mod 1.71

No password needed, just click "Activate Cheats".

- I added a bunch of cheats after the "General cheat" has been activated.
- You can add as much money as you like.
- Holidays and Anniversary events can be triggered separately. (All events start after the MC goes to sleep)
- Gallery cheat included.
- Includes a cheat activation reset, only resets the activation not the cheats itself.

If you start a new game you can choose all six options (instead of only two) in the "Character creation" page.

my question is if there is a mp4 version, and the part about the online version is asking if the online version has mp4 videos instead of gifs, as obviously the offline version is only gifs.

It does say 'GIF Version' but it's really just mp4, webm and webp (which can be both, image or GIFs) media files.
Lol, there are only 10 GIFs in this game.

Also, it would make no sense to have a GIF and an MP4 version.

well, it would if it made the file go down in size, especially if it already has 10gb doesn't it?

what doesn't make sense is calling a version the "gif version" if it's not mostly gifs
