i clicked ignore till it continued to work, lol.
later i replayed the scene in the gallery (laptop)
but yeah, it's a bug
lol I tried that myself but just not enough
did it about 20 times and then it worked. thanks for the tip
yeah it jumped in time like halfway through the scene

I think the beginning of a story based game is very important, and to me this prologue doesn't make sense. Without any context, the MC is told about the other universe and that he will be going there on a mission, all within a few sentences, and then he is immediately in the "prime" universe. I think it would work better if he either accidentally gets transferred or is forced to go.
If you want to make him part of a "mission" to the other universe, you should at least imply that he was in on the research and aware of what they were trying to do. Not just "we found another universe and we are sending you there".

Having a issue with mirina, dinner quest where I go to dinner and nothing happens afterwards and the quest just says go to dinner still

How do I trigger all those work events you can see on the laptop?
I've tried failing or succeeding the QTEs, making the wrong/correct choices doesn't change anything either.
The only events I get are the ones where his ass gets slapped/squished.

I get this error when I invite anna over and go into the mothers room. I tried restarting the game and getting back to that point and it didnt work. Any ideas?
