Yep. This is unfortunately a grindy game so starting over is really annoying.
So is it just a bug? i can't leave the room because of the "clothes" but i've changed everything and nothing works

Dev said so, or are you just speculating? He might be focusing on different routes and continue these later. Also there's still many routes to expand upon (modeling, Kendra, Scarlett which is a main story), it's hard to develop them all at once.
Personally I think James is cute, some more scenes would be great, perhaps encounters in different places - library? gym?
And when it comes to Janet, even though im not into ntr and I hated the whole "dumb bully being the one who cucks you" introduction, once I started thinking of her as a perverted friend/fuckbuddy, the idea of mmf threesome with her started to sound incredibly hot.

It's a shame the developer is holding back James' progress, but that cocksucker whale shouldn't even be Austyn's girlfriend, that arrogant MF. Trish is just a friend, but still a 100% better girlfriend. But I understand the whale was made only for humiliation and NTR's purposes. I hope the dev tosses her away.

Regardless, everything else about her is just her being a skanky bint.
Trish or Miriam are much more likely to be the perfect girlfriends for the MC, they are fiercely loyal to him and love making him feel good. (While feelin good themselves when they shag him.)

Regardless the Jannet relationship is pathetic from a storytelling standpoint and I guess it's just there for the NTR fetishists, or the developer quickly lost interest.
How are they even boyfriend and girlfriend still by this point of the story? They barely interact past the opening few quests and the protagonist has "cheated" way beyond what she's done.

The whal... I mean, Jannet and her NTR events were added in the first releases of the AVN. The dev patrons probably had complained about the character, and James, well, I think I have a guess... It's rare for a futa AVN with males; people also complain about it. In general, people like futa x futa, sissification x futa, female x futa.
James should have been a masculine beefcake so there would have been more contrast with all the other characters whom are all very feminine (futas, women and femboys). He's somewhat feminine but not quite a full femboy, he's also not very masculine either, so there's very minimal contrast between him and MC (masc/fem dynamic). Characters like him are only appealing to women, in fact he looks straight out of an otome game
There is a later version on Boosty than is available here, 17.2 vs 17.1. The .1 and .2 updates from Muffin are usually translation updates and bug fixes.

"When will be added route with my lovely character" - it will be added sooner or later. we are focusing now on finishing the main story. we do only 2 scenes, but almost every month, because artist can't draw more that this. Please, be patient.

In the settings it's set to 239,96 Hz. Though the monitor itself is 144hz.

That is most likely why. Set your refresh rate to 60hz and see how much easier the minigame is.
Are 0.16 and 0.16.1 saves compatible, could I load my 016 save in 016.1 game, and then make another save in 0.16.1, and in that way transfer my save in 0.17?
no, you don't. i did a lot of code refactorings to make a map markers for quests/characters locations.
it's too hard to maintain a compitability between versions in this case
