I liked that that scene had a choice to accept or not, although I'm not sure if it changed the stats. Would be nice to have more choices to actively do or say some of the things the MC does or says.

There was some talk from the dev a while back about making it optional. But this is very much a game where the MC doesn't get much of a choice about how he's used.
