you can just start with new update content via game itself
btw, really tiny content update unfortunately, good content but just basic 3 scenes... it's been a while since we got a major update

Ugggh I had forgotten that saves had bugged again, so the dev wanted us to just restart again earlier in the year. Which isn't happening in a sandbox.
You can use the see new content option when starting a new playthrough, it starts you off right at the new content.

there seems to be a bug that the casual clothes i have get missing after the beach quest is complete and going into the research quest. yet can't buy new clothes in shop as there is nothing, also won't be able to leave both the house and room because i'm only in pjs

sorry about bugs. game becomes a messy hell, because i did several refactoring during the whole game development
it's like absolutely not worthy to do it full time, unfortunately.
i think we do enough arts per scene. like it's not one static imager per tons of text.
probably you need to reequip it.
probably some choker on your character causes that error
it's takes a lot of time to draw art. + it's not full time development.

It's no longer in the wardrobe, it completely disappeared, only socks and shoes

I'm supposed to talk with Janet at the school, the map show that she's here and have the quest marker, but she's not here.
I'm supposed to pick on Janet in her backyard, there's nothing.
I'm supposed to met Janet in her backyard, here again nothing.
And yes, I'm using a fresh save and going there at the right time. But well, I guess that there's some progress, before the forced restart I wasn't even able to access her house...
