I am the developer and I still don't know enough to confirm anything.
Unfortunately real life complications are impacting development time, but I am hoping to be done within the end of this month.
Lots and lots of scenes have already been written, it's just about writing the last couple of (big) events.

Wish I could feed you now but unfortunately there is still a lot to be done.

This is almost peak internet, all that is missing is to mark this game as abandoned and complain about singleplayer game being dead

The previous update I made a bunch of saves for routes and stopped them at the party of the trip. This let me choose which route to go down from there, but now the new update has even more options afterwards and I have run out of save slots
