I have to say I was presently surprised about the quality of both the art and the story. Both are quite above par of anything that tends to make it's way here.
About the story: The story was actually engaging to the point where I started caring about both the kid, and his parents. Even the cafe interactions were handled well. I will say however that there are definitely some nitpicky things to keep in mind about the story elements. Especially concerning how the bots appear to be totally sentient beings but are treated as obvious machines or at best second class citizens. There was already talk about them sitting in scrapyards while all of the bots depicted so far are obviously "people" who would pass any Turing test. I know philosophical elements in a porn game and all, but if you're planning on leaning into that element it has a LOT of pitfalls to watch out for. Nothing has come anywhere near jumping the shark; but again, just a heads up. I'd personally be quite fine with without a "gameplay" element beyond the VN style of the demo being added. Especially if that is not already a core element you plan to incorporate.
The art is indeed quite nice. Like others here, I was kind of concerned about how disjointed the preview images hint at the art being for the overall feel of the game. I have to say though the art direction of the game is actually amazing. Everything is done very well. In fact, the only complaint I have about it is that there aren't lewd scenes in the same style which I hope is rectified in future releases.
In closing: I really liked the demo. It's definitely one of the best I've seen on this site.
Edit: Much respect going for the kickstarter route vs patreon's possible exploitation. Backed the project.
