Not a stupid game, a lazy Gamer. There is more than one entrance. Maybe give it more than a passing effort.
Sentence 1: just walk around and find the footpath (to the left if look to the gates from outside)
Sentence 2: funny game
Tried everything, run along the walls to find opening, tried to jump the walls, tried jumping from roof, no luck, as per walkthrough the gate is suppose to open by now but nope..........

From your house, as you're facing the gate that goes into town, turn left and head down the path towards the water. Follow the water to the right until you can climb a path uphill (it will be past the point where you get the cutscene with your brother). This path will get you into the courtyard on the other side of the locked gate. You can pick up the 3rd letter there, and unlock the gate.
if the quest to find the pages was begun,
follow from your home at left side footpath to the lake,
in front of the lake turn right,
after brother and masturbating girl will see at right side another footpath on top to the House.
This time it looks like I'm going to be a hero!

I think the latest version broke the lighting and shadows in the game.
Here's for comparison -
In the latest version the game has become (darker) and the shadows seem to have disappeared or the lighting is no longer taken into, but the difference is noticeable.
I use these settings. The difference between Medium and Cinema is completely unnoticeable, but if you go to LOW, the shadows obviously turn off -_-
P.S. Completely deleting the \AppData\Local\OST_Game folder doesn't change the result. The game is still DARK.

he most likely tweaked the skylight intensity and direction of it shadow seem to work
do the game have better performance than when it came out ? i wanna try it again but iwasn't able to run it correctly before on my relatively potato pc
