Without more art, no. I've done what I can with editing what's there (usually for story scenes rather sex scenes), but it really needs a proper artist. I spent a lot of time trying to find someone with no luck, so now I just want to focus on getting the remake as good as I can with what's there.
If there was an artist who could commit to the project then absolutely I would consider continuing it properly.

Following up or remaking abandoned or outdated projects always seemed like common sense to me and I've always been surprised at new devs risking a shitty original and all potential bad rep when there's good and maybe easier work to be done repolishing or saving fan favorite gems. The fact that so few remake or continue older games somehow made it very respectable to me when someone does.
I never did end up playing the original, iirc I look into /images and wasn't enthused (probably was early with smaller amount of art, idk). Plan to only use original art is clearly understandable (to me I mean coz from reading the comments maybe not to everybody so perhaps do one of those highlighted disclaimers in the description?) but if this is successful and popular I do hope you get incentivized to give continuing with new art a go.

I really appreciate that and I completely agree: there are a lot of great ideas that just needed that extra time or polish, or fan-favourites that got abandoned with too much left undone.
Bad rep is still a problem here, inversely: if you mess up what people liked about the original or people are expecting something brand new with it, you end up pissing them off right out the gate because of their expectations. But always going to be something isn't it?
If you ever do decide to play it I hope you like it.
I am open to the idea of continuing it with another artist but I spent a long time trying to find someone without any success. I'll edit the original post and try and make it as clear as possible that this is a remake of an existing game with a fixed scope of content.

No inconvenience at all. You cannot use save game files from the original game, this is a complete remake. Thank you for asking this as I realise I have not clarified this in the original post and I will go do so now.
In terms of improvements:
- (hopefully) significantly fewer bugs and improved performance
- Several quality of life improvements, like a replay gallery (present in 0.7 but absent in 0.8), a complete overhaul of the UI and menus, an objective/progress system (rather than a single global objective)
- The JRPG combat from the original 0.8 has been replaced by an auto-battler system
- The mission system has been expanded to have a lot more missions and character/plot specific modifiers, along with options to control how you would prefer characters be assigned to them
- Each characters plotline will be expanded and if art permitting, drawn to a narrative conclusion
- More variety in the character's dialogue/sex scenes as a result of their affection/submissions/your choices
- The core plot of trying to take over the world is slowly being introduced and woven into the characters stories rather than just used a framing device. Allies, enemies and political consequences are slowly being added to fill this out
- Adding all of the content (i.e. the outfits and sex scenes) from 0.8 and 0.7 into a single stable version of the game.
I thought "Something Unlimited" was the DC version, also we have another version of this game with "Doomination"

Could you clarify what you mean by this? Is the menu not opening, can you not see outfits you have unlocked, it is not changing outfits when you select them, are you getting a crash, etc? Is it for all characters or just some?

If you could tell me what has happened to it and attach your save file (or make a post about it in the bug-reports channel of the discord server) I can take a look and see if I can fix the problem for you.
Honestly, this looks pretty "AI," even if it's not, so I feel like you could continue it with "AI" art, if you wanted.

so the right amount of fingers but the artist def fucked up the depth of the hand making it way too thick, stuff that happen if you draw over photos and you dont have the best knowledge of anatomy.
