Not seeing it, so I guess it was removed from the game before the final version - but I recall the MC having sex with his actual sister in one version (and a lot of underage stuff with her at one point, so I would expect the dev to strip the content, but I haven't played this in years). Anyway, what I recall is the underage issue, then the random chance his mom (who he's knocked up at this point) walks in to see him assaulting her daughter - she goes apeshit and kills him on the spot (in one of the cretches). On the otherhand, if you got the sister pregnant when she's a teen, she eventually turns on you, killing you and becomes the new Empress in your place. Then there was the really weird gay route, where you did away with all the females love interests and seduced the guys, becoming Harkonnen's concubine (it was seriously messed up). Only asking since her can't seem to find anything on these three story paths. iIt is also not in any of the walkthroughs. So I am guessing it was removed during the crackdown before 2020. But I just wanted to check if I was missing something somewhere....

Wtf am I reading? Everything you say is wrong.
Paul can still have sex with his sister in the latest version, and she still looks underage. None of her content was removed. You say that you looked at the walkthrough, so I don't get why you missed that stuff.
There was no version where Paul could impregnate his mother. She always became pregnant from her husband. The sister never got pregnant, and she also didn't kill him. The mother never killed Paul because she caught him having sex with is sister, she kills him when he mind-control rapes her too often. And then the sister becomes Empress. There also has never been any gay stuff in the game. The player can and could ally with the Harkonnens and Jessica gets DPed by Paul and the Baron, but that's it.
It's like you were on hallucinogens when last playing the game, or when writing this. You remember a bunch of specific details, and then twisted them completely in your mind.
You also got a bunch of stuff wrong in your next post, but I don't feel like correcting you there. You can just check wikipedia on that.

Are you the dev of Behind The Dune? Because this stuff was in the game. It isn't now. Thus why I asked about it after playing this version and not seeing things that were in it the last time I played. The first release of a completed version of this game was when - 2016? And you think a new release is going to be the same? First ask why it had to be changed. Games getting stripped of content is not a new thing, especially if it is underage or the dev has any contact with Patreon, Steam, or many other now-censored-sites. The crackdown started between 2010-2020, but is still ongoing. Even f95zone ended up rebooting and starting over partly because of this. As said, I haven't played Behind the Dune in YEARS - since before 2020. Much of it is different. As for you mentioning looking stuff up on wiki? Rule one when using Wiki - it is wrong at least half the time if not more. Wiki is not an official source, but only a source to be used to locate areas for further research on a topic. For instance, medical information is often suppressed or completely removed from the wiki. And content concerning old subjects, such as 1940s comics are often flat out wrong or completely missing. The wiki is written by the general audience, monitored by the first person to create a page, and edited by everyone, only to have the original author go back and delete everything that was updated - a terrible design for factual content, but great for misinformation. So, read the Wiki, but trust what it says with a grain of salt. I followed the development of DUNE from the original first release of the novel, so the info given was accurate. There may be more, such as one of the DUNE franchise stories doing great in the theater box office with high ticket sales, but being a complete flop in final audience ratings, because it was missing the things that made the original miniseries a cult classic. Being unable to locate the info of this discussion doesn't mean it never was, only that you can't verify it. And I could care less if you have a clue about it or not. I had a question. And from you clueless reaction, I received my answer - the content was deleted during the global content purge. Not saying I am not glad it is gone, because I am! It was disgusting! Sister was a baby in a highchair! So, yeah, I wasn't talking about the teen scenario. I saw that the scene where the MC was replaced by her when she became Empress was not in the walkthrough, and recalled ONLY A COUPLE of other things I didn't run across in the current version. If you want to know more - ask the actual developer.

Edit: giving you the benefit of the doubt, I am going to assume this content v was "patched". Whether as an add-in or removal is the question. I have my opinion on it, and even tried pulling up "incest patch" just to check, since many censored games pulled content and then offered it as a patch. Not seeing anything. But that doesn't really matter either way. I only had a question. Since, you, the moderator of this thread, don't know, then there is nothing left to ask.

reynold.biplane keeps a repository of most versions of BtD. You can find it in his signature. That's why he's rather aware of what was in older versions of the game. Actually, you might find it useful to check that repository, you'll find older BtD versions there that you may like better.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

It was made into a movie by David Lynch in 1984, and the only really big name that got his start there was Kyle MacLachlan (Paul). That Frank Herbert (author of Dune) hated him is total nonsense, they got along great:

.

The two main things that have carried over from Lynch's Dune into Behind the Dune are the sandworm design and Paul and Jessica's hair styles.
Well, damn, ninja'd. And you did a better job summing up the Dune franchise than I did. Only thing I have to add is that technically there are far more than six books, if we include those not written by Frank Herbert himself.

And in that case I guess we also have to mention that Dune: Prophecy series, which is based on one of Brian Herbert's books.
