I hope I'm not intruding in this conversation about Quinn's hair, but I personally see Quinn's hair as being sort of iconic to her. Whereas characters like Jill, Josy, or Sage have longer hair and can be put into a lot of different styles (buns, ponytails, etc) Quinn's one-of-a-kind hair has stayed the same for so long that if she were to change it, she would kind of lose something about herself in the process. It would be like taking the pigtails away from Lily...sure, it would still be Lily, but she would no doubt lose some of her appeal.

I've personally used a different style for her once and while I like the look it does change her vibe a good bit

Hello everyone. Many months ago, VaderExMachina asked if someone could make some renders of Jill, Tremolo and their daughter, and as Jill Simp, I took it personally . I don't have a lot of free time, so it took a while and I had to stop because I kept coming up with ideas and I wasn't going to finish any time soon. Anyway, I did this set as wholesome (and sometimes ridiculous) as I could.

That dress is so damned sexy. That little strap across the belly adds to it. Those bright blue eyes almost make her look like a Fremen. I think Lily could rock a stillsuit because she's clever and tough!

If I may, how many actual lights have you got in your scene? ever heard of 3 point lighting? you should look into it, it would greatly improve your render. plus you have 2 lamps in the background, that could very well be used to create a realistic soft atmosphere. with a ceiling and a facing soft light, you could use those 2 to create a 3rd lightsource to nicely outline your model, while getting rid of sharp shadows, and bring some softness to your scene.

light is incredibly hard to figure out, I have the theory, but i'm struggling a lot with it myself.

what can help is to check out all some of the light preset addons for Daz. while you might not want to use them as they are, it's great to reverse engineer and try to figure out how it's done. I know DM assests sometimes come with them, and I've personally learnt a lot when I started.

The environment came with build in lights, there are 3 light sources: the two lamps and ceiling, the two lamps are turn off
