Welcome to Jill's Jacuzzi Garden Party! Having access to a venue with enough space for a get-together, Jill invited her new college friends to enjoy the hot summer together in the sun and possibly in the relaxing embrace of the garden's Jacuzzi! When MC was asked if he would like to join, he asked if it was fine to bring his girlfriend along, and Jill, as the kind socialite she is, agreed for MC to bring Rio along. To the possible misfortune of everyone involved, Derek overheard while lounging on MC's couch and insisted on coming along as MC's best friend (and since Maya was also invited). MC tried to get rid of him at first by saying "only close friends +1," but Derek was insistent and asked Jill directly who, somewhat perplexed, agreed to let MC's best friend come as well. Knowing that MC was allowed to bring a +1, Derek decided it was in his best interest to also invite Ashley along, as he was still trying to get that thing going again. So now Jill's little party has the MGs, MC, Rio, Derek, and Ashley hanging out in the Jacuzzi garden, all spending a fun summer day together! Also, Jill's other best friend might make a surprise visit...



It took me a little over a month to put this set together so I hope you like it! I had to downgrade the images to .jpg because I got a size issue message for some of them and I didn't want to bother with picking and choosing each one individually so I uploaded the full 4k .png versions over

This set is inspired by some discussions I had with some friends of the community last year and how we all pictured ep 10 and onwards featuring MC and his chosen girlfriend more involved with the "main gang", as it wouldn't make much sense for the guy to hang out with DPCs favorites all the time while letting his GF sit somewhere waiting for a call. So my attempt was to make it look normalized that they all hang out together!

It was definitely fun trying to create something that had some kind of continuity and I managed to put some (mostly subtle, I think) references in there for different things as well

I was listening to music and it gave me an idea for a portrait, then I decided to make one to use as wallpaper on my phone and tablet, so I used my favorite autumn post effects and decided to share it here too (Post made with LrC)

Ooh, I love the lighting and colors of this one and the way Rio's back and the back set and these hand rails are illuminated! It looks exactly like one of these "magical sunsets" when the sun has already set behind some clouds in the west and the sunlight shines back off of one of those high (thunder) clouds in the eastern sky (assuming the sunset happens on the northern hemisphere). I love these rare evenings when this magical light comes from the wrong direction!
My monitor is calibrated, so the colors I'm talking about should be close to the correct ones.

Didn't you post a render from the front with the exact same lighting? I don't see a matching one.

I was sitting on the bed and looking out the window and listening to music, the light was identical to how it is in Riona, and I wanted to recreate that, since the music gave me this idea, I always see the same landscape in the evening / sunset here through my window, then I said "Riona would look cool looking at the sky"

I rotate the sky, and I change some things, to give the feeling that she was sitting there for a long time looking at the sky, thoughtful,

The front camera is capturing the light from another direction, because I rotated the sky to make the camera from behind, later I'll make another version with similar light, I left a photo here so you can see what it looks like with the same post , the angles are different from the light

Here you can see better where the sunlight is coming from
