Status update Episode 10

Happy New Year!

It's 2023, and time for the first Status update for Episode 10.

I have been focusing on posing and rendering animations. You'll be happy to know that my PCs haven't been idle for a single day since beta testing started in early December.

It's been tricky to keep everything going during release weeks, Christmas and New Year, but I did it. And thus, I've got a nice head start on the animations for episode 10.

I have posed 85 animations, of which 37 are complete.

209 static renders are done, so there is some progress in this area.

I have been writing dialogue and working on the episode layout. My main dialogue files are roughly 5300 lines long. Compared to episode 9, this is roughly 20% of the episode.

I'm still planning the episode, adding events, and creating its structure. I'm aiming for a smaller episode than episode 9, and time will tell if I can do that.

Reaching the 5000 render milestone for a single episode was insane. Episode 9 alone could be compared to the entirety of Acting Lessons. It's been easy to add more and more scenes and renders when the game's cast is this big, and I want the spotlight to shine on as many characters as possible in every episode. But with the Halloween episode done, I can limit myself a bit with this next episode.

I can already tell from the events I've put in the episode layout that plenty of story and lewd scenes are to be had. I have decided on the girls getting lewd scenes in this episode, but I left some wiggle room if I feel something more is needed.

There will be plenty of new mini-games in this episode. I love creating them, and I developed several alongside episode 9 development last year. I have planned a couple of mini-games but have yet to create them. They aren't on the same scale as the party planner mini-game, but I think you will enjoy them even so. I'll likely tease you some of it during development without spoiling too much.

I'm looking forward to this development cycle! Right now, I'm battling a cold. I will rest for a few days and hope it will pass soon.

The walkthrough will be updated soon, too - it's about 95 pages long for Interlude and Episode 9 alone.

The renders are not the problem when it comes to rendering, it is the animations that are the most time consuming

I hope that DPC doesn't want to make another 300 animations in each episode and especially kisses, it's not really necessary to animate a kiss.

The kisses with Isabella in the library were just a waste of time

I think there'll be at least a possibility of splitting the lesbian couple in the future if you're on their path. I'm just curious if it' possible to also break up them if your on The Others' path (and also on others, you know, not The Others, but other paths: Sage, Jill, or Bella, but I don't remember well...) because Mr. DPC has been hinting at that since episode 5 (pic #1), and in last episode we had a HUGE hint (pic #2).

Funny thing is that, in episode 5, there is a similar conversation with Maya, but it's less dramatic, and, in episode 9, there's nothing alike as it happens with Josy (at least, I didn't notice, please correct me if I'm wrong). Do you guys think, it the split really happens, will be able to chose only Josy?

I also think there will be solo routes for Maya and Josy. That will be decided in EP4.

- No Josy or Maya if the MC fucks with Jade.
- Josy or Maya if the MC stays friends with them. (Solo routes)
- Throuple if the MC wants and gets a relationship with them. So is neutral or chick.

I believe for a throuple breakup to occur due to the MC's affinity. How.

DIK: complete separation
DIK-NEUTRAL: Josy and sex with Other Girls. Heather Tommy relationship model.
NEUTRAL: Josy. Elena relationship model. So occasional sex with Maya.
NEUTRAL-CHICK: Josy and Maya. Throuple. Maybe an Elena style throuple. By that I mean for the throuple to get a third girl in bed with them every now and then for fun.

I like Magnar, too, but Sally seems an odd fit for him, assuming they are even still together. We haven't seen Magnar since he freaked out about all the noise during the dorm party, which he refused to participate in, despite Sally's enjoyment of it. Sally was also at the HOTs party and now the DIK party without even a mention of Magnar. We also know that Sally is one of Quinn's drug customers. Given all that, Magnar might thank a DIK MC if we were to take her off his hands.

Yes, there are two more episodes (episodes 10 and 11) in season 3. While episode 9 was short on story and long on gags and fun, I expect episode 9 will be the reverse.

1. Bella- I have fapped myself fucking silly to her. Hot as sin and the best arse in the game. Despite been gruff she helped the MC out and their dynamic is well sweet. Her scenes are fantastic as well. Unfortunately knowing DPC she'll turn out to be a psycho murderess or something.

2. Sage- Personality wise the best woman in the game imo and hot as fuck, plus redhead. Her friendship/relationship with the MC is also well done it does feel them two click. Her scenes are sooo good. I also think she's get some really kinky scenes down the line. It kinda annoys me on the others path they couldn't be fwb.

3. Quinn- Hot, ruthless and smart she's running prostitution and drugs in uni, she's an earner. It's also endearing just how desperately she doesn't want to admit she's got a huge soft spot for the MC. Sadly like Bella seems to be one DPC likely will have blow up in our face in some way.

4. Nicole- DPC simply knocked it out of the park with her. Not fully sure if I'd want her or Quinn to become a full on LI more (though Quinn seems certain to be one).

5. Zoe- Gorgeous and I like what I've seen of her. She has history as an old friend which will be interesting compared to every other girl been new. I like how she handled things, she accepts that she fucked up but wants her friend back and is willing to wait for him to process. Tbh I have a feeling she'll be top 3 for me by the game's end. I just hope she's an option for diks, she seemed surprised if you get aggressive.

6. Riona- A lot to like with nothing to dislike really.

7. Camila- I like her a lot, drama free; just wants to have fun and fuck, her and the MC kinda have fuckbuddy vibes. Plus best arse in the game other than Bella's.

8. Lily- Similar to Camila seems to be someone that just wants fun and is casual about sex. I doubt she'll have a route where things are more than casual fucking but a man can hope.

9. Jade- Hot, MILF, Tybalt's mum enough said. It won't happen but dear god I want her and Sage at the same time .

10. Josy- One of the sexiest women in the game and has good scenes but despite been sweet is not as interesting as others. Think she's the girl in the game that's fallen for the MC the hardest even on routes they're not together. Just wish she was a bit more interesting when the MC is not balls deep in her.

First scenario. The chosen path is Others. Sage already knows that Zoey is MC's ex-girlfriend (thanks Derek), but since you and Sage are just friends, her reaction is positive and she continues to smile, keeping her spirits up.

Second scenario. The chosen path is Sage. And she's your girlfriend now. She is a little confused, no smile, and a shadow of doubt is written on her face. I think Sage has a lot of thoughts in her head right now, "why did MC invite her." Even the dialogue has changed, it's an ellipsis before she finishes the question. Sage didn't make a scene of jealousy, but she would remember that.
