It's likely that Burke will find out about their relationship, and even if it's not explicitly prohibited can threaten to make trouble for Bella as it looks bad for her professionally. As he's been hitting on Bella and getting rebuffed he could use that situation to coerce her into an illicit relationship or else threaten to expose her and MC, just like Tybalt used MC's antics to force Jill into dating him. Like father, like son.There will most certainly be drama, but there are 2 routes to it.
One is, as you said, there are rules in place, that prohibit Teacher/Student relationships and they get found out, or get close to on many occasions.
Two would be there are no rules against their relationship and they go semi public. Like can you imagine how motivated the HOT's would be to "steal" the boyfriend of a teacher ? Sarah, Mel, Rio, Cammy, Quinn could totally turn it into a competition. And then you have the added bonus of how to integrate a 38 year old woman into the MC's circle of friends and college life, Tommy would probably faint just from the excitement alone

I doubt it'll come to that, there's going to be a shit ton of trouble coming her way when everyone finds out for sure, but I'd be surprised if she ends up losing her job.

The interesting thing about NTR to me is that my tolerance for it scales inversely with the quality (and therefore realism) of the work.
For a garbage tier game that I consume purely for the black tar heroin sexiness, I don't want anyone touching my bitches! But for something like BaD which exists in a sort of hyperreality much like mainstream movies or video games, it quickly becomes intolerable for a story to have ZERO other males, or have all the girls fall instantly love and lust with you at first sight.
So when people say no NTR, I have to ask if they know what they're talking about. NTR is humiliation and arousal FROM that humiliation that comes from being sexually passed over, ignored or betrayed.
Whereas plenty of people would claim that ANY potential love interest flirting with, getting hit on or even just interacting with a potential romantic rival equals NTR.
For the former I personally don't care for, but the latter is something that I think is essential in a game like BaD. It's weird when a LI entire life revolves around the MC. It makes the plot, and the drama feel flat. After all, if there are no stakes, no credible antagonist the game is essentially a 'click to won't simulator'.

I definitely see Burke's bullshit coming to a head in the near future. Bella, of course, will not play those games. But there will certainly be the threat of her losing her job... This plays into the repeated theme of her losing her previous job. It will test the love for sure. The MC will be challenged with exposing Burke for his cheating. That may be a problem depending on whether or not Jade is with or against the MC. Maybe one version includes Jade aiding in Burke's fall.
How do you get to this part where Derek is telling this story?
And does anyone know who this character is? She appears more if you are on the "Others" path apparently.

Nobody knows who the blue-eyed thirsty ghoul is. There's speculation that she's a Swyper girl, possibly the "Priscilla" that Burke calls, or a completely new character.
And as for Derek's story, that's when you do the scary stories event in the party planner instead of doing the haunted basement. I never tried that one on a Bella route, so having her down there when he starts talking about her tits is probably amusing.
