Episode 9 was the worst episode for me, but it's still better than most other games here. A while ago I played the entire game again, and episode 9 isn't a problem at all, at least now that I know not to expect more story after the Halloween party.

The episode 9 made the similar impression on me. A total disappointment when I continued the game from this episode after a break of almost a year. But recently I got the courage for a full replay from the very beginning with all the mini-games and shit. And suddenly ep.9 clicked just right. While I was completely immersed in the game, even wandering around the mansion and staring at the decorations was quite fun.

That's 64.67 seconds of pointless bullshit that DPC wants you to see because it's just sooo good. It's a vanity project. Doing such complex and lengthy animations in DAZ is in itself a strange decision. DAZ is probably good for sex animations, but it's totally inappropriate for cinematic animations, like the long animation after the first act in episode 9. The intro to episode 9 is basically just a hovering camera, nothing complicated really, but very difficult for computer rendering. If you want to do animation, do it in Blender. It's simple and fast. When I rendered an animation similar to DPC's( I rendered an animation of an old library with lots of props, heavy textures, etc), it took me about 8h hours to do the whole thing. Similar animation DPC would have rendered for a week.

Ah... this is a difficult one. I have stated in the past that I think Quinn is one of the best characters in this game and that I think it is insane she is not a main LI.
Now, does that mean I think she is a good person? No. She is absolutely horrible to almost everyone. The MC is a big exception here, because she has feelings for him. That doesn't make her a good person though. I think that rather soon the MC will find out what Quinn is doing when she's not fucking broccoli guy, and it is not going to be pretty.
In all likelihood there will be a big decision tied to this. And let's not fool ourselves, most people will probably want to save Quinn from herself. Let's see how that's going to work out. Hope really is a cruel mistress. For what it's worth, I don't think Quinn is beyond "saving". Not yet at least.
