The funny thing is it actually did, the problem is, because of the flashback method of how the various parts of the story were presented, none of it felt engaging, and so it felt like nothing happened. But check out the key points of episode 9:
- Vinny finally showed up and had his first altercation with the mc. This has been looming for ages.
- Maya's loan situation has progressed another inch, but hopefully a Royce lawyer will be the final nail on the coffin of that arc.
- The mc has officially chosen his girl and ended it with the others, and everyone knows (unless it's Quinn, but who are we kidding, they all fucking know).
- Quinn and the mc are effectively married now.
- Heather has opened the floodgates. It's been a long time coming (had to resist the pun there).
- Sally was nice to the mc, as nice as Sally can get. It's the first time she hasn't just tried to stab him in the face. It'd be cool if their banter took another turn now, like still insulting but a hint of actual flirting.
- We have this new plot arc of the bug(s) in the DIKs mansion.
- Nicole has indicated she wants more than just sex from the mc.
- We've dealt with all the ex-LIs handling of being dumping (except Josy).
- Bianca is almost openly flirting with the mc now, and he's definitely made his intentions known.
- We've had a grand threesome with the throuple, something people have been complaining about the lack of for a while.
- Anal with Sage, the first anal scene of the LIs.
- Jill is bordering on giving the mc blowjobs now.
- We've had the very much anticipated Halloween party, and it was epic, but lost its appeal when we realised it was the entire episode.

Possibility of what is going on in this preview.
1. Rumors About MJ and fuckface are floating around campus after The Halloween Party.(MJ Path)
2. Lilly has figured out that Maya and Josy are a couple.

I didn't back then, in fact I had was lots of great fight with her haters back in the days.
But lately she became too much. Ep 7 brought up an interesting possibilities, with good drama as Josy joining the Hots, finnaly giving her a chance to be her own character, while maya wont, what did the great writer dpc did? , in the next episode, Maya joins the hots anyway, making the whole story , and drama totally pointless. on top of that Sage joined the the rescue crew, and one episode later Jill also enter to the team , because, the game called "Maya's tuition", and everything and everyone must revolve around her

If Maya joins the HOTs, it's unclear where in the mansion she'll live. There's no way she's sharing a room with Quinn, and Heather won't willingly move in with Quinn. That means someone from Josy/Maya pairing will move into Sage's room. Does anyone else find it dizzying how DPC can keep creating these beauties, one after another? It's like being yanked in all directions. Choices, man.
I thought I could honestly have Cathy as my favorite, and then as I revisit stuffs, bam, Riona's there at the dorm party, kissing MC. She makes me wish MC could have an ending with her so bad. I made a whole save dedicated to pursuing her.
Right when I thought my mind's set to focus on Riona contents and having her as my fav, here's Sally with that ass. Ngl, after the Halloween party, I made a save just to make sure I tease her right.
And then there's Tara. Bit of a bimbo, but she's insanely detailed and lovely. Her face has the right mix of fragile & sexual. A real nympho if I ever see one.
