What complicates things is that we have the MC's love life, the storylines of the various protagonists, and the possibility of one influencing the other.

Agree, and this is why personality I do think it is a bit missed opportunity to not be able to get together with Jill as a Dik Affinity, - expecialy how it was handled, she looked at the moon and felt something is off, all while she was literally blackmailed by a way worse person, than Dik MC ever was during the game. -
and based on what we learned it could have even mirrored a bit similar situation to what happened with her Sister, and her boyfriend.

But in my opinion this is impossible. DIK MC doesn't suit that version of Jill - she is too “correct” and for her such a guy is too wild and she was looking for a good guy.
As for me, DPC gave us permanent affinity too early and it would be interesting to see how the girls react to the further change in our guy’s personality. But the game is already too complex for one person, imagine the number of probabilities, how many unique dialogues and renders are needed for each situation. At least Jill is okay with Neutral, who can be a bit of an asshole, and she even laughs at you for exposing your dick and ruining Tybalt's presentation.
Btw, Jill approves if you tease Tybalt during yoga in Ep.10.

Speaking of different endings. I wonder how it will go down in ep10. If you screwed everything that moved and then chose the troupe. In ep9 they ask MC with how many woman he slept with. I wonder if that would cause some issues. I think I need to do a playthrough like that and see.

She was the last addition to the game, and frankly I do believe, that originally she was a bit different, but because of outside influence, wheter he will admit or not, I do think , things about Jill and her stor,y did change for the sake of her high tier patreon simps , who usally voted her as top girl in very poll.

I just did a run today in which I changed affinity to dik in ep9. It played pretty much the same as normal. I'm just not sure at the BBQ if you can use shrooms on Neutral affinity. I you folks know. If you can fine and If you cannot on neutral and you change to dik. she does have dialogue scolding you for taking the shrooms. You have to promise her which is like a variable. So I think next time you do you are gonna get dumped.She always been available Neutral.
