I've been working on a lewd scene for the entire week. It's mainly animation work, but I've also done some renders, code, and dialogue.

I'm almost done with this lewd scene; I need to create a few more animations before moving on. Afterward, I will pose static renders for normal scenes.

I believe I have four, possibly five, lewd scenes left to create for this episode. I have left some wiggle room in this area and will decide on it while creating a certain part of the episode. I will leave the remaining lewd scenes for a bit later. Now, I want to bump the static render count and rack up more potential previews.

Even with over 2000 renders produced, it's tricky to post previews because I don't want to spoil what I've been working hard on. I have several written scenes for which I'm dying to start working on art. Next week will be fun for me.

Assuming a similar number of renders, then compared to the last big table then that means at least 34% of renders have already been done in ~3 months of dev time. Added to last week's internal estimates it's now somewhere close to 70% of animations too.

If a large part of what's left is also in the position of just needing static renders (given they describe having several scenes ready to be rendered out) then I'll happily take that progress over DPC umming and ah-ing over selecting and presenting the perfect previews to be honest.

If those are the only ones left to create then that's a good thing given those are likely the simplest to produce scenes in the game given it's a teleport to location and then just animation so can be left to render in the background.

not sure id call it a good thing if it was true as it's still 4 or 5 more lewds than needed with a character that doesnt matter to the plot (so far) and is there just for lewds

At this point it's clear DPC wants the character as at least cheap "filler", so there's not going to be no Madame content and we just have to accept it. So in that scenario if all that's left to do lewd animation-wise is those pretty quick scenes it's a good situation.

meh id still disagree if that was the case as to me that many lewds with a filler character would be a signs of a lackluster episode / update if it was true.

The last three(?) episodes have had multiple Madame "scenes", all of which if examined are a maybe 20-30 second looping animation while having good substantive content for everyone else.

So really don't get your IMO bizarre pessimism over having maybe a minute of animation left to do when it's the area people were worried would drag the next episode out for months.

ah didn't get they were quick animations. I thought they were normal length animations, I thought you saying be quick scenes was more reference to the background / environment is already done. Then if it's a few 30 second looping then I do see your point. I actually skipped her content just ctrl skipped through it for the gallery so I forget the length of them.

Yeah, the Madame stuff is likely substantially faster to do than pretty much every other piece of content given it's nearly 100% asset re-use, barely any writing, and is just a new very short animation that loops.

Also, as much as I despise them, the 3 Madame scenes in EP 10 were extremely short, less than 60s of animation in all of them (all 30fps).

Ah ok. I wasn't counting Interlude anyway (and is by far the biggest waste of time in the entire history of BaDIK). Either way though, yeah I really don't get the amount of hatred the Madame scenes get when they probably take a day or two at most to do.
