I agree with this, it's not that bad, but if there is one thing I would criticize it would be this, I also wouldn't mind a bit less porn logic sometimes. What makes AVNs (good ones) enjoyable is well-written characters and interactions between them, believable emotions. Porn aspect is important to spice the game up but not to the point where it dumbs the characters down too much. Otherwise you could just watch actual porn, as it has way better quality scenes.
This is why I have zero interest in any kind of harem paths or that kind of games in general, the whole idea is just absurd as you said, from the fact that it eliminates normal human emotions like jealousy to the fact that all female characters are supposed to be acting as if the MC is the only man in the world. It's a very far-fetched fantasy and definitely not my thing.
As I said, this game is not too bad in that regard, but it does feel as if certain characters have a switch that turns porn mode on and off. A prime example of that is Sage at the end of Episode 9. This is an unpopular opinion here and I understand that people want to see those scenes, but this is what I think of it. A guy just recently told her that he wants to try an intimate relationship with her, and the first thing she suggests to her new boyfriend is to invite other people to their bed and set up orgies. Yeah...let's pretend that sane people do that all the time. And it's a shame because I like her character a lot, but this moment does dumb her down to that porn logic level. It's possible that even DPC realized he's overdone it because in Episode 10 her behaviour is way more natural.
Surprisingly, the character that shows the most of this kind of emotions in recent episodes is Quinn. She won't admit that, but it's clear that if you are on her path (or were before and then commited to someone) she is very jealous, and the way she shows it is in line with her character. At the Halloween party she doesn't want him to fuck others, so she presents it as a challenge to "keep it in his pants" if he wants to get her, but she can't admit the actual reason as that would be showing a weakness. Josy in case you were a part of the throuple and then left them also behaves very natural and human, it might not be nice to see and many didn't like it, but there is nothing wrong with it.

I was expecting some conflict between Sage and Jill since Sage said that she hated Jill (not exactly these words, not sure). But it all was solved when she learnt Jill wasn't into Tybalt. I mean, the girl fed some hate for Jill for a while, then they're both into MC, it could have had some jelousy, I picked Jill branch, but Sage, as nice as she is, has taken too well MC choosing Jill over her. Same for Jill learning about all the girls MC has been involved with before her (or those during the dating period, or at least Sage herself) and her inexperience. As to Josy, it's been pointed out that she really hasn't had much of a personality through most of the game, being buried under Maya and her infinite issues. I just completed a playthru recently and only just noticed the scene where Josy is trying to re invent herself online in the wake of the Oscar incident. I think this could be interesting, if it's pursued properly
If I use the multi-mod to unlock all the paths for every character in a single playthrough of season 1 and 2, does the save that gets imported to season 3 get corrupted??? Do let me know

Actually that really irks me, Zoey and Jacob would be great together. I would also like to see Rusty get another chance with Jill or, if Maya and Josy break up, have Josy dating that nice Prep kid she's friends with.
But it's the porn logic that jxyf889 was posting about. Now all of the LI's that MC didn't pick will have to go off and be old maids together. It makes me despair that we will ever get a good AVN story.
