that still plays into the funny irony of Jill believing in Destiny; like it was almost made to happen that the two of them met.

Jill's route is also is a parallel to Niel and Lynette's relationship; a guy with no money meeting a rich girl and with enough persistence able to make a relationship work... Though I doubt Niel had to cuck an orange.

EDIT: On an unrelated note, thanks to this game I found a bunch of music to add to my Royalty-Free playlist.

The music is pretty great, I wish it was all officially on Spotify. It's a shame about The Friday Prophets though.

that's just the fun part about royalty free, is you don't have to pay for it, so it typically doesn't make it on spotify for that reason. At least you can find the tracks on youtube easily.

Yeah, but this work was total professional work with album art, properly segregated by chapters, artist details etc.
I checked it out of curiosity, I like the little names relating to the scenes the songs play in, but idk why the album art doesn't really correspond to the episode it's for, like Melanie from the dorm party in Episode 8 is inexplicably used for Episode 10. Thanks again though!

Speaking of the music, DPC's been making his own stuff lately. I wonder if that will continue, and whether it will be used to slowly phase out the royalty-free stuff.

Apparently DPC asked them for permission/approval to use their music way back when. Around the time of Episode 9's release, they finally responded and told DPC to stop using their music, and he complied.

That's why Punk Rock Flu and the other Friday Prophets songs are gone. Fucking sucks (unless you mod them back in ;)).

This is from the relevant Patreon post about this.
I rarely have to post bad news, but today I must, so let's get it out of the way.
I've been asked to remove all songs from The Friday Prophets from the game.
When I downloaded their songs from Soundcloud, they were uploaded with the CC BY-SA 3.0 license, making them free to use commercially, but this usage wasn't what they intended.
I reached out to them four years ago about using their songs, and I got my reply this week asking me not to use their music and to remove anything I had added since.
It's sad for all of us, for me, the game, and fans, since the songs have grown to become iconic during that time. No replacement to Punk Rock Flu will give the same nostalgic feeling when you start the game or a new episode, at least not for many more future episodes and years to come.
I will respect their copyright and remove all their songs from Seasons 1/2, and 3.
Please, I ask you not to direct any negativity toward them because of this decision.
I truly believed I used their songs in good faith because of the licenses, and it's unfortunate for everyone that it came to this.
I tried my best to replace the songs with similar tunes to preserve the college feeling of the game. We'll see what happens in the future regarding the title song.

I think it was royalty free in beginning but they later changed their tone since their music was attached to an Adult game.
That's what DPC makes it sound like, yeah. I could understand Friday Prophets' decision if this was more of a degenerate fetish game, or even just about incest, but it's a college boner comedy game. And Punk Rock Flu was fucking perfect.

I liked the first replacement song. It's not as good as the original, but I dug it. The new one though, from the band DPC teamed up with, Dirty Toy Company... not really feeling that one...

And that's why in a few discussions ago I said that Jill is the "right" path in the game. Also because she presents the game. But I'm sure her path will have something more especial than others (not sure if good).

I don't mean that her path is better or something (but it is - sorry), but that DPC thought about something special to her when he wrote the main plot. And it is a bit counter intuitive because in a game called Being a DIK, Jill's route leans more to CHICK choices.

The only two paths that I can clearly see some plot twist revelation is Jill and Bella's, and Bella's is a bit predictive that will be either her (ex)husband coming back or finding out he's dead and both might affect their relationship to a break up point, with Jill I don't see a pontential break up, but something mind blowing related to Lynette's family that probably will leads us to actually believe that they were meant to be together - destiny.

I don't see anything like it coming for Sage or JM path. We have the Stephen thing that will affect this both paths, but I don't know. I feel Jill's going to be more special - and truthfully speaking, not because I like her more, that comes to personal matters to be, but because how DPC has presented those characters to us.
