Unfortunally its quite a bit more complicated than that. Static renders are the easier part of development, DPC could probably pose around 1000-1500 renders a month (depending on scene complexity) and render them just as fast.i see, thanks.
so we are at 5k after 8 months and need more 2k (probably)...
5/7 is 71%. it isnt looks bad.
5k = 8 month -> 1 month = 625 render
with this rate 3-4 month and the update will be at circa 6800-7400
i suppose my math is good, but development isnt working like this. it would be too good to be true.
so, 2-4 update per year (and usually the 2 updates) is the normal. we got 0 update per year.

However, an update isn't only statics: minigames, coding, extras & animations also take time to do. Animations in particular are the biggest timesinks, they take more time to pose & even more to render, specially now DPC is doing them in 60fps.

These last weeks DPC focused a lot in statics, which is fine, but he probably still needs to pose & render over 80 animations (by my estimates)
If we use his known averages it would take over 13 weeks to render those animations, plus the time necessary for the statics.
Add 2 more weeks for beta and bam u are in 2025.
Unfortunally we still got lots of waiting to do.

yes, but any release date in februar or later is guarantee the dev time start later, so ep12 wont come out in 2025
like now, last update was in januar, so 99% chance about ep11 wont be in 2024
he already cant keep up the 1update per year
