Well.... its not like he does all the music by himself? Its not even 15% of the music at this point, the rest is baught and added. So... lets say he wouldnt do any kind of music by himself. The overall time he would save for a whole DEV cycle might be... 2 weeks (more like days acutally, he said it in a DEV log how much time he spend on doing the music, wasnt much, which is no surpise, his tunes are very basic) considered that a DEV cycle is now around ~12 months. What a difference does that make?
I get that people want updates faster. But there is no optimal solution to it other than "DPC please work more and faster i dont ccare if you will be unheatlhy, give me more updates" and if he does, everything will crumble. Or he would outsource many things with the same result, everything crumbles or will be slowed down because of less motivation on DPCs side and more work would be needed to coordinate things, and if anything is known about DPC, its that he doesnt like to work with people or deal with them at all, besides, i wouldnt want to deal with him either, must be a real pain in the ass to work with him even a little bit... So both things wouldnt speed up thing, more like the opposite. It is what it is.
