Hi there
This week I have playing a new game and as I'm running out of ideas, I have decided to play with minigames for the first time (almost)
Why didn't I play with minigames before?
When I played (and quit) BADIK for the first time, I tried to play with minigames and it was a disaster so I deleted this first run (I didn't reach the second episode) and I started another game without the f*ck*ng minigames. When I started playing BADIK again, I played the first runs without them, but after reading in this thread about them, I decided to continue without them
But the last week, I thought... They can be so bad, right? Short answer, yes they are
My review about the minigames (until episode 8)
- Brawler: At the beginning, it can be annoying, but after you level up a bit DEX and POW, it can be almost entertaining. If I had to choose one, this would be my favorite
- Shuffle and Triple tile: I have played similar games in the past and after a couple of games, they starts to be boring
- Math class: This the easiest game and one of the less annoying. Classic logic game
- Gender studies class: Having to read carefully a bunch of feminists is not the best experience, but taking some notes while they talk make the game easy enough
- English class: English is not my first language, I can read and write good enough but I have some problems with this game
- Drinking games: I hate them. You need to be a really quick and steady hand and even then, I think the game just hates me
- Various games (tennis, pancakes): They aren't the worst but they are useless and there are too many of them
- Mansion repair: What the hell was thinking DPC when he design this shit?
I have played some management games and I can say I am good enough, but this one has been the most annoying I have played
So, after this run I will apply the "no minigames" rule, and I will finish this post asking... How many of you play the minigames when you start a new game?
