The Q&A is usually after the release of an episode since people have a lot of questions about the new episode, and there has already been one since the last release so it makes sense to postpone it.

Someone said that the original assets were indeed made to look fake and even had it in the description. Not sure why DPC used them. Could be that he originally bought them for some other character but felt they didn't fit well with the body or maybe Maya's personality was planned to be completely different when he bought them, who knows?


Yeah, I also agree. I would make no sense and since it's never been mentioned I suspect they are not supposed to be fake in Maya's case. But like you said, it was a weird decision by DPC to use them on her.

I don't know about Maya, but I remember some Sage polls, maybe Maya is also a 'community effort' character.
But to be fair, the Sage ones might have been just haircut and hair color(I know for sure the flashback color was in the poll and her now canon one won over it)

I usually have a Q&A early each year, but I figured it's best to postpone this until after Episode 11 has been released. That way, more topical questions can be asked and answered, and I can focus on polishing the episode now instead.

That's true about the animations, but I mean, there could be an accident that knocks out power to his home for 6 months too. No use worrying about worst case scenarios.

No specific date, but the last 3 have been after a release (technically, before those also, but he released more often back then as well as was more active on Discord). Originally by coincidence, sure, but it makes no sense doing one just before a release when there has already been one since the last release. And he literally says it's because "more topical questions can be asked and answered".
The Q&A is mostly about the latest released Episode so it makes perfect sense to release it after when there has already been one about that episode. Otherwise, people with questions about the latest release would have to wait a year to ask.
