Yeah, how his dad teaches him guy things, like martial arts and contracting/construction...Remind me, what does he say prior to this? Something "sexist", right? I presume she's referring to Maya?

If ep 12 comes in two parts each of them is going to take a year and thus a total of two rather than one and half. Smaller chunks will end up taking more time. Which one do you want faster? Your next fix or the actual complete game? That's what those other devs do. They give you small updates faster, but in total their games take several years and still have less content than one BADIK episode.
Finally we are at the final preview. We made it men.You must be registered to see the links
This week, I started by playing Others' and Isabella's branches. I feel very good about how the different playthroughs of the episode feel.
I've also played with a focus on mini-games and balancing the party planning mini-game. Then, I focused on replaying all the lewd scenes; although three scenes were missing animations, I could polish most of the content.
I checked that the Music app is updated with all new songs and works as intended. I also added a couple more SFX that I had missed. I continued working on Phone chats and Rooster, adding more chats, clucks, and gallery images. I believe I'm done with the phone content now.
I'm analyzing the code, flow, and choices right now. This allows me to spot well-hidden errors and oddities I have yet to encounter while playing. I've found several rare bugs resulting from nested choices and exceptions. This information also tells me which playthrough I need to test more thoroughly.
The episode is getting increasingly polished, and my lists of issues to fix between playthroughs are often very short.
The PCs are rendering nonstop, and over the last couple of weeks, I've tried to estimate their render speed and calculate how much more time is needed before they are done. It's tricky because each animation differs in speed, and I'm seeing a spread of up to 100% render time with some animations. Assuming the average render speed stays the same, the PCs should be done with the animation queue on February 7-9 at the latest. If I see that the speed changes, for the better or worse, I'll let you know.
Beta testing will commence as soon as possible after the final animation is complete. I will provide more information about that later. Next week, I will continue polishing and playing; it is the only task left on my checklist for this episode.
The final preview of episode 11 will be released sometime later this month. I think it's safe to say it's a preview you don't want to miss.
Have a nice weekend

How would he split it up anyway,If ep 12 comes in two parts each of them is going to take a year and thus a total of two rather than one and half. Smaller chunks will end up taking more time. Cheap feminism, for a characterization then really never used. Because other than being a lesbian and taking the equality class, Maya has never expressed this feminism of hersGonna be the 4 millionth person to notice this, but this is the first time reading previously read dialogue since my first playthrough
Ooh the foreshadowing View attachment 4430931

Yeah, BADIK is that kind of story. Technically there are a lot of plot threads, but they are woven into a complicated pattern. They need to progress together. How would he split it up anyway,
by route? Ultimately someone's getting fucked over as there preferred girls still months away?
By in game days? People would just fucking moan, no lewd content in this update, update brought no progression, etc etc
BaDik is not really a game that allows it's chapters to be broken down further.
The episode can be divided by freeroam. The freeroam is always in the middle of the game. This was the case in ep8 and ep10. It logically divides the game into two parts. How would he split it up anyway,

It's kind of the point that Maya is an actual feminist while Wendy, Dany etc. are just a different type of wrong. I suppose you could have Maya biting Dany's head off when she is being a cunt to Jamie, but the relationship needs to progress a bit further. At this time Maya isn't close enough to the other DIKs to intervene like that. If she gets into a fight over MC or Derek she has a personal bias and Dany (or whoever) can just ignore her.Cheap feminism, for a characterization then really never used. Except that it doesn't, episode 10 had like 4 freeroamsThe episode can be divided by freeroam. The freeroam is always in the middle of the game. This was the case in ep8 and ep10. It logically divides the game into two parts.
So if for example ep12 is so big that DPC can't make it in a year, he can split it by freeroam.
But I don't think that's going to happen anyway. He'll made poll and a lot of people will vote to release the whole episode.
It is one thing to nom be a feminazi, but Maya does not even have with mc any conversation that makes us perceive her as a feminist. In the end it only serves to justify her taking Jade's class, and that's it.It's kind of the point that Maya is an actual feminist while Wendy, Dany etc. are just a different type of wrong. Except DPC has never shown any care about any illusion of overdelivering. His M.O. has always been "I'll deliver however much I feel like, when it's ready, regardless of timeline." The only saving grace is that he has always feel like delivering more quantity than what is realistically necessary, so quantity has never been an issue.I also bet on 14 February. I think DPC is trying to create an illusion of overdelivering.
Everyone will expecting a release on February 21st or 28th. But he will release it on the 14th.
He could have done it earlier if he wanted, but of course he doesn’t want to.
Next week he will start working on the next episode, the same thing he did at the end of the previous development cycle.
Do you know how a characterization works? Here it doesn't work just by saying that a character is something, but by making it clear by how they behave. Otherwise it's just "cosmetic." Normally if you talk to a girl several times you can tell.So what would you have her do?

I would love that as my bday is in that week, but I'm not betting on it.I also bet on 14 February. I think DPC is trying to create an illusion of overdelivering.
