Let him complain all she wants, at the end of the day if the mods dim our discussion of topic they will nuke the thread anyway. A few days ago they did a mass deletion of post here.

I think she only comes here to create a non existent isssue because in real life she cannot make her husband mad to start a fight so she comes here to start one.

By the way I assume she's a woman, am not even sure she really is a woman

She does get sick at one point with a cold, but what if it the cold is only first symptom. Next it's genital warts, then a migraine, then her bones become brittle, then she is paralyzed on one side, then the cold hand of death crushes her frail heart. She dies horribly from an incurable disease with the combined symptoms of cancer, herpes, rabies, leprosy, Ebola and the plaque.... but hey you still get to bang her mom :BootyTime:

That is true, but she came to senses soon. She was pretty judgemental and said look now you have a free place for yourself, then Josy said that she was still paying for the Dorm so Maya doesn't get a new roommate. And be safe from further Patrick interference. Then she came back to senses and did apologie.

In throuple path this is less noticeable, in other paths their relation is really on edges.

It could be that the friend in question is Jill, but the "young students" would cover Jill as well so I've wondered who else it might have been. I've toyed with the idea that it was actually Lana, but the "I've stopped it." bit is kind of extreme next to the fact that Lana is dead. Otherwise there is a lot of potential in Bella having been friends with Lana and getting sexual. She and James clearly had problems before he disappeared and it would explain how Jill is so important to Bella.

I have a feeling that all the nasty things are connected. Not necessarily done by the same hand or ordered by the same mastermind, but connected. It's a bit conspiracy theory-ish, but this is a work of fiction so all conspiracy theories are at least 50% more plausible.

I speculate the following sequence of events:

1) Bella and James have problems and Bella sleeps with Lana.

2) Bella puts a stop to the affair and doesn't see Lana for a while.

3) Lana is killed.

4a) James tries to find out more about Lana's death to make sure Bella isn't in danger. He finds out too much and is disappeared.

4b) James is the one who killed Lana and disappeared because he was about to get caught.

5) Bella meets Jill.

There is the obvious counter point that Bella worries about becoming an adulteress as if it was a new thing after having oral sex with MC. However the "being intimate with a friend" happened long before that so for some reason it didn't count. Either it didn't quite cross a line just like the other moments with MC didn't quite cross a line or it didn't count because the friend was a woman. "Intimate" could be an intensely emotional moment that didn't quite get sexual, but close enough for Bella to feel guilty about it.

Of course the friend doesn't have to be Lana and James' disappearance doesn't have to be directly connected to her death, but how Bella and Jill got to be so close in spite of a 15 year age gap requires an explanation and Lana would be a good one.

We know that Bella started working at B&R about two years ago, it's perfectly possible she met Jill at the library. It's how we met Bella :giggle: As far as being connected to Lana and her death, I'm not sure how to feel about it. It would tie James into more of the story, or at least outside of Bella's world. But also there's already a little too much "small world syndrome" at times, especially since I imagine Buddy and his crew might be involved with Lana.

Yeah, this is something that seems to get lost on some people. Her initial response is basically, "What?! Why would you still want to be one of them after what they did to us? Why aren't you on my side with this?" It's emotional, reactive, not an ounce of "controlling" in there, just taken aback because she would have thought Josy would stand in solidarity with her on this, as anyone would expect from their partner. But later on when this becomes something necessary because of Patrick's surprise visit, she accepts it and I think the necessity makes it easier for her to accept. Also, the MC in his responses there clearly knows she's just being emotional and that's all it is.

But look at her now; she's not only made amends with the girls (except Quinn for obvious reasons), but she's now happily joined the HOTs. So in the end, none of what happened there really matters because it got better with time and opening up more.

Perfectly possible they met there yes, but how did they become close? Bella and MC initially get close because Bella is protective of Jill and wants a better look at the young man showing interest in her. Without Jill Bella will still find MC naked on campus, lecture him and end up feeling sorry for him because he lost his mother at birth, but the drunken kiss never happens. Jill is a necessary catalyst for the Bella/MC relationship.

What is the Bella/Jill friendship catalyst? Well Lana isn't the only possible explanation, but she is a very plausible one, if she and Bella were friends. Jill and Bella would have met at her funeral but might not have really talked and the later meeting at B&R was where the friendship began.

How small is the BADIK world?
