I was having a bit of a conundrum earlier, deciding whether to go full CHICK for my throuple playthrough, or keep it Neutral for balance. After careful consideration, and by that I mean checking the code to see what I'd miss out on, I'm sticking with CHICK. It feels more natural, Maya has actual CHICK affinity choices and outside of the first two episodes where status meant a lot more, all Josy really has is flashing her nipple if you have DIK status. I'll still try to keep the mutually exclusive choices balanced, but unless Episode 11 has DIK stuff for Josy, I won't have a second save that's DIK focused.

The Maya x Josy relationship is already over, those two are just too naive to admit it. They're actively hurting each other between very brief sexual reprieves.

Lets be real, Maya is willing to screw over her own family and friends w/o posing any resistance just bc she feels entitled to something most of her other friends don't have access to. She doesn't "deserve" for her father to pay her way. She doesn't deserve for the HOT's to pay her way. Hell, she hasn't even tried any alternatives that anyone else would have to. Something like, oh idk, a job? Her behavior is actively reinforcing her parents beliefs in her own head, which is the worst possible outcome for someone who is ashamed of who they are. And she is VERY ashamed of who she is. There is no reason for her to continue to try to hide her sexuality, as too many people already know for it to remain a secret. And while her father carries that shame torch, her mother would have baked that into her from a very young age. That's why she lies about pretty much every damn thing. Maya is by far the most flawed LI, which is likely why DPC gives us a long introduction to her before we have an opportunity to get to know any of the others. Rio and Quinn are less fucked in the head than she is, and some of the ways they're fucked in the head could be seen as beneficial in some relationships. And the worst part of Maya is she's repeatedly confronted by it and never makes any effort to change. Most of the time, she can't even be bothered to TRY to communicate.

Worrying about grandchildren isn't even realistic here. Her mom is the type of person who would have been protesting the existence of these options in the 90s and 00s. She, and thus Maya's father, won't be willing to accept what they'd see as a test tube baby or some kid that isn't biologically related. Hell, they wouldn't even accept a throuple where the MC is the father bc they'd view that relationship as even more problematic than just Maya and Josy. Maya's only path to acceptance is to grow the fuck up and find success and happiness on her own terms. Prove to them that such is achievable and that they can either accept her or gtfo. Yet everything she does only serves to further reinforce that they're right, which is why she always put on a mask and stabs everyone in the back. She doesn't even believe she can find success or happiness in being herself.

Josy, on the other hand, at least attempts to communicate. She falls into the mien with most of the other females. Which is to say she has behaviors that pose a problem for any relationship, but its not shame ingrained into her from birth that will take a lifetime to unravel. Best case for herself is that she learns from the relationship with Maya and grows as a person. And moves on before her relationship with Maya can cause any further damage.

Any time I start a new run, it's hard not to pursue their path. And the fact that Maya shows no signs of growing up, only showing the contrary, it's hard not to immediately change my mind. Hopefully, DPC either allows them to break up or allows the player to break them up in the the next update. Something HAS to force Maya to grow up, and hopefully before she drags anyone else down with her. The worst case would be for Derrick to drop out and lie for her, using the payments intended for him to pay for Maya's tuition. And he's dumb and loyal enough to do just that, and Maya entitled enough to let it happen.

I will say one thing this entire Maya plot line made me a die hard Lily fan, she faces similar problems as her. In Episode 10 in Lily path she says to Tremolo she's studying medicine because she has to prove something to her parents. Man this girl is such a fighter, she faces her problems head on, doesn't makes excuses, isn't naive to fall for stupid rumours, she works as a stripper still tops her class (unlike Maya and Josy who have such a hard time in maths class), figured Quinn within days, which Sage hasn't done in 2 years. And Maya couldn't even after warning from both the MC and Quinn herself. Quinn did warn both Mona and Maya at HOTs pool what she was throwing them into. (It is a horrible thing but she did warn both of them, Mona atleast had some idea but Maya was totally ignorant).

Also Maya's problems seems way too much first world thing for me, all she had to do was fool his old man for 3 years and graduate, like do the Chad grindset. (Like he is fooling everyone that he is straight, it worked for 3 years right?) But no she will whine and make it as it's end of the world. Many women have much worse than her still achieve way more than her. Well I'm glad atleast this problem is over. Only time I liked her character was when you break up throuple and she takes it like a champ. Kudos where it is deserved.

Obviously you have the stupid ones that she a cop or whatever but the only one that I've really subscribed to is that she fell for Tremolo pretty early on (he doesn't judge her, respects her decisions, is "hot", has a monster dick, clearly cares etc), and is afraid falling for him will effect her work

There's no mention of being a Dik in the code for it, you just have to not be on anyone but Sage's path, but I cant remember trying it so im not sure. You have to be a DIK to get her lewd in other scenes, but I think she says something like "Because I'd fuck the shit out of both of you, and I don't even like this guy."

But it might end in a problem and her all her plans would be naught. That's why is stupid King and Queen thing to keep it superficial. I just hope they soon have a deep conversation, that's all they need. Maybe help for her dear friend Nicole.

Nicole told to keep business and personal relationships separate. She and all strippers uses a pseudonym at work, where as Lily seems to use her real name. And like her story tells she can't separate both her lives. Probably this is Lily's plotline that MC needs to solve to get with her. She's a brave and smart girl I'm sure she will pass this problem too.

She'll have to address it properly soon. She falls a little harder every interaction. By addressing it they might be able to come up with a way together to make it work.
