Na it doesn't (let me rephrase that, it didn't on past versions, but it's possible DPC has come up with a way for this release that it will).

So I was always told it was because scrappy modified something that DPC was able to specifically locate, while Sanchos never really did that. I don't know if it goes further than this or not,

But again with Sancho being MIA, we can't really get a straight answer. But as in that image you posted, once you install a mod, save then uninstall and play, your saves are borked. given it's likely we are never getting another Sancho mod, that's a whole lot of fucked saves. Hopefully the old savefixer can work... Who knows...

I think you might be a little wrong with your assessment, because this final preview is more indicative of what was written some time ago. I wrote that Josy, Maya, Jill, Isabella and Sage probably won't be at the DIK Panty Party. The reasons are obvious. Josy and Maya don't want to walk around half-naked in front of their brothers.

Jill won't present herself half-naked in front of lots of strangers, considering she has stage fright. Isabella, as a teacher, will definitely not appear at a DIK Panty Party. Sage has personal problems with her parents' divorce.

So what does the preview show us?

The five LIs are having their own party. The MC will be at the DIK Panty Party first and then have to make a decision, just like in EP4. If the MC stays at the DIK Party, he can talk to Josy and Maya or he can go to Jade. The same thing awaits us in EP11. If the MC stays at the DIK Panty Party, he will mess things up with the LIs, but he can fool around with the many "Other Girls". Or we can decide to drive to Isabella in Rusty's car and be with all the LIs, but that will exclude many "Other Girls".

I remember last time we talked, I said Maya and Josy will not give a shit about Derek and Tommy being at the party. They're getting bolder and more comfortable being in public. If the throuple is going to scurry away and hide just because Tommy is a pouty bitch, they might as well never go to a party ever.

Doing it with separate parties would probably make it easier to do the branching wise.

Without any of the MG at the panty party, DPC doesn't have to worry about whose path you're on etc. It will be the same regardless and only have to worry about who you will or won't have sex with.

Meanwhile at Bella's, you can do everything almost the same, and only worry about who you are sneaking off with for some sexy time.

A reminder: save your game at the end of episode 10, where the game tells you to save to avoid any save game issues when playing the upcoming episode.

Now I haven't tried yet of course with chapter 10, but at first I was always saving there at the end of the chapter and often had then problems ....

I know it makes more sense to keep the branching to a minimum, but I don't much care for forcing all the girls together. I can't help but think of it more as DPC being "lazy" rather than a natural progression of relationships between the characters, and even that is a bit of a stretch sometimes.

Thats what I gathered from the last episode. They don't openly say it but its clear they're tired of all the sneaking crap & if ppl don't like it, kick rocks. However Derek seems to be way more chill about it, hes just concerned shes in good hands.

The way I understand it, from Sancho's explanations, is that the only way it would get fucked sideways is if a dev did something to negate the old saves entirely. Since DPC's model is to ensure the old saves work with every update, I think the SanchoMod users are safe.

Why do people think Scrappy is abandoning his BaDIK mod?

I always thought its because in some games they use the extra clicks to show scenes from the next episode, or a few renders with links to their patreon and in the next episode those get replaced with the next ep intro, so thats why you save when they ask you.
