Yeah, I think that too. He still should have a role to play in this story, the fact that he's a former tri-alpha, when he leaves the dorm in the middle of the night (which was noticed by the MC) are seeds planted by DPC with that purpose.
Anything that contributes negatively to a game thread, petty fighting, gif spam, random memes, images for the sole purpose of farming likes, etc.

Seriously though, her stuff is bound to be related to her and the player's character's shared interests in music, with the melon fucker and the economical class differences being the major drama. Her friendship with Bella, and Bella's growing interest on the player being another one.
MC's mom was from a wealthy family and his dad was from a poor family, and now it's MC that comes from a poor home and Jill is from a wealthy family, sounds like deja vu, haha

But who knows, maybe we will later on find out just who MC's mom and her family was, maybe the family name commands some respect among the snobs, maybe it will earn Jill's parents's approval xD
It would be interesting if MC's grandparents from his mom's side would suddenly contact him and see how that might affect things, but I think he has the right to know that side of the family too though, if he has any interest in that, that is
There isn't one necessarily, each path just misses out on content the others don't, and relationships down the road may be different on each path. The best thing to do is to play each path and then decide which you like the best
You can make your own choices so there is no best path, only the one you want to choose bro.
It's a matter of personal taste, this version of the game just got release that gives you something between 3 ~ 5 months until next, sooooooo....... enjoy the game.
