Did DPC exaggerate mc's reaction on Josy + Maya in chapter 4 just to have a common ground when mc and Jade later talk about their respective relationship problems (Jade-Stephen and mc-girlfriend) which finally leads to mc's long night with Jade?

I'd say no because if it were me I wouldn't like being blindsided like that and wouldn't feel like sticking around to talk about it either. He may have been playing the field, but he, at least from my side, seemed to genuinely like both of them and was already torn about who to choose, then he finds out these 2 girls he likes are in a relationship with each other and it's a really tough blow, so totally understandable that he'd be pissed.

That thought worries me because Sage, as the Sorority president, obviously had to do HOT stuff.

If you don't get a threesome and Jill gets sad for MC's treating her bad, then Bella's going to open the door to her underground dungeon and punish MC hard.

If they manage to come together, good for them. That's usually more rare than you'd think.

I do think the game intentionally exaggerates the MC's response to Maya/Josy, but I don't think it was just for the Jade scene.

I think the main goal was simply to sell "The Twist." If Josy's sudden arrival merely causes the MC to start a long series discussion with the girls, that undercuts the surprise of the reveal. If he instead harps on about his hurt feelings and betrayal before storming out, that lets the surprise intensify the drama. It also increases the stakes for those of us still rooting for the MC to get together with one of both of them.

The other main benefit is that it forces the MC into new situations. He might have wound up crashing with Derek for a few days if he and the girls had behaved more civilly, but it's very unlikely he would have asked Sage or Bella to take him in.

Things like Jade's soul bearing or Jill's funny face are, IMHO, side benefits that DPC was wise enough to take advantage of, but could have happened in other ways just as easily.

Now Cathy and the MC what if she is so infuriated by the leaked pic that she blames the MC for the pic leaking even tho he didn't do it ? But she thinks he did since he and her did the nasty swyper thing...


The next Jill date hmmm we already did Yoga we did tennis ..... does the Bella cooking lesson with MC and Jill count as a date under supervision ? if not then maybe a musical date were they practice a romantic play together with the guitar and piano ?

If I follow the story correctly, aren't Sage and Rusty seniors? Unless they are twins or step siblings, I can't see them as being related. I only see Sage as coming from money.... but not B&R money

Jill is a difficult character since she seems to take relationship and sex very seriously. If you care for Jill, you either go for an exclusive relationship with her (no other girl or affair besides her) or just stay friends to not hurt her (and not hurt Bella).
The other girls in BaDIK are more like a hot buffet with a wide variety for different tastes where mc can eat titbits without consequences (it is just sex). (Most players probably like this hot buffet.) Jill is more a standalone dish. Unless she changes her attitude to sex, it will be hard for mc to date her. An exclusive relationship would force the player to abandon most of the content which is no fun and would result in a boring playthrough. Jill might be more the type for a good ending relationship : mc and Jill have sex ... and they lived happily ever after. The End

Well look at it this way. The MC's mother comes from money. But that didn't pass down to the life of the MC. We still don't know which family Lynette came from. I see the same for Sage. Her parents aren't stinking rich just well to do but not influential.

If you pursue the two of them long enough, I imagine it will come out into the open. This would cause a lot of harm to Jill, who had assumed she and the MC were effectively a couple by this point. This in turn will hurt Bella, as she will now feel even worse about herself.

After that, it will be up to the MC to salvage the situation, but I'm not sure what sorts of outcomes are in play just yet.

Both are obviously from rich and/or influential families. Thus far, we know of three candidates (Burgmeister, Royce, and Burke). Technically, there's fourth possibility in the MC's mom's family, but I think that is disqualified on incest grounds.

Everything points to Tybalt being Stephan and Jade's son, so I think it is highly unlikely Jill is related to them. That means Jill could be a Royce or Burgmeister, and Sage could be any of the three. (Assuming we don't add new families, of course.)

I don't think Jill is related to Rusty, because she says she has no close family besides her parents. Even if Rusty were just a cousin, I'd think their similar age would have led to them interacting enough for Jill to mention it. By similar logic, I don't think Jill and Sage are related.

So that means Sage would be a a Burgmeister or Burke, and Jill would be a Royce. I still have my money on Sage being Stephen/Jade's daughter (possibly adopted); I think that fits what we have seen the best.

That said, Sage being another Burgmeister is an interesting possibility. It might even provide a direct motive for CathyCluck-gate. If we assume the Burgmeister and Royce clans have the ability to overrule Chad's suspension, discrediting Rusty might make it easier for Sage to bend the ear of the relevant relative.

Unlikely. We might not even get date #2 in this episode.

(Also, did we already get there during Episode 3? I specialized in nerd during high school so like Jill I find the unwritten rules confusing.)

I lean towards yes. The other DIKs seem to be in favor. Even Tommy seems to care more about bossing us around than actually booting us out. I think they'll find a loophole, or reveal that maggots aren't expected to do everything on the board after all.

I also think, narratively speaking, it would be a mistake to hit the reset button and make Season 2 be about pledging the DIKs all over again.

I think we'll see a scene where the MC and Cathy allude to it, but Cathy shuts down any actual discussion. They'll discuss it a bit more online, but for the most part this will be left to simmer for another episode or two.

She doesn't have to be a B or a R to be a legacy. Her Dad, or Mom, or both could just be be some wealthy alumni who are financial contributors to the school. Even if Sage isn't on good terms with her parents, she can always use her them as leverage to get what she wants from the school because they don't want to risk losing her family's money by upsetting their daughter.

It's basically bribery, extortion, and corruption all rolled into one.

A college "sponsor" is someone who has the means to fund other student's college fees (tuition). Rusty could take on a sponsorhip role since he is a Burgmeister and has access to a lot of money but he's chosen not to be one, and Sage has also chosen to be one and to use the money of her rich family to pay for the HOTs.
