Mc was already 18 years old, so it's his 19 birthday, and in both cases he would have been informed by the lawyer before that, i think that would be just lazy writing.
If Dr Pinkcake want to make it better he can make it so that the mother faked her death because of her family pressure and payed the hospital to lie to her husband about her death, so she is still alive.
Or he could make it that his family from the mother side, want to reconnect with him (grandparents, aunts and uncle, cousins) and from that he start a relationship and they can give him a part of the family wealth.

An inheritance from nowhere would be lazy writing.

It's been known MC's mom was coming from a rich family. Him getting a possible inheritance that may have been hinted on Ep 1 is lazy writing? But her going 007 James Bond with crazy twists, faking death etc. is good writing?

It was never stated that her mother's side contacted him or his father. It was clearly stated MC's mom left his family to be with MC's dad, and she died giving birth. They probably hate MC and his Dad, cuz she's dead because of them. If it wasn't like that, they wouldn't let the memory of their daughter suffer from poverty growing up. Now they have no reason to contact them after 18-19 years, except she had a will that they couldn't find any way around it, and were obliged to abide the will.
So, what you wrote is more lazy writing than him getting a possible inheritance.

If you consider the scene in episode 3 where mc stays overnight in Jill's bed and she humps his arm while asleep, the event between Jill and Bella might have been a sleep-humping-accident, too. We don't know.

Probably won't be. That really well-designed official walkthrough came out after the completion of season 1 and if DPC doesn't release an updated one with ep 5 added, then maybe they'll only do it for full seasons.

Perhaps someone who is a patron could ask him on Discord and/or Patreon if he intends to update the walkthrough?

Thanks will wait for season 2 to be finished then, I feel lost and unsure of my decisions without a walkthrough.
