Maybe DPC realised that the 3 branching paths would be too much work to keep going and they were just trying to patch them back together. Same thing with the divergent M&J paths because if you don't agree to the threesome in ep 4, they tell you they still have feelings for you and he feels the same way.

I think both flashbacks for Rusty founding the DIKs and for young Isabella did cost a lot of resources but they have no player decisions so those scenes are more like a film than a game and they do not progress mc's story. Without the flashbacks, the story probably would have made it at least to Monday and we would already know Rusty's fate.

I agree with your critique on the M&J paths. Setting the path in ep.4 with dependence on affinity was a bad design since both girls still have feelings for mc. I think there should always be 4 choices : none, Josy, Maya, Josy & Maya, e.g. when talking to Derek. I suppose the threesome was saved by purpose for next episode when mc helps with the scavenger hunt.

The 3 paths (Derek, Sage, Isabella) in episode 4 have some minor influence on episode 5 scenes. For example if mc stayed with Bella in ep.4, his guitar is there and he can play for Jill and Bella. I don't know if there are more variations for the 3 paths.

Are you sure about that? my memory is far from perfect but i'm pretty sure that i decided to stay with maya in her room and never got the threesome but i still got the chance to fuck riona.

An update is an update. I dont mind all the free roam as long as there are plenty of scenes in the free roam. Seems like it did take quite some time to get the update we got. Still tho I thought it was funny and had some good scenes. SPOILER NOT really, but I wish at the end of the night after taking Kathy home she would have jumped on Swype that would have been kinda cool. Besides that I enjoyed it. I didnt mind the flashback. Derek was a a freakn trip as always. Since I know how long it will take for the next update I guess I can go back and play again and do the Josy and Maya route and the Isabella route. The Dik route is just to fun, besides you are still putting in time with Jill and Bella. Jill dosent want to rush. So hooking up with Hotz, Sage along the way is fine with my route.


NOW SPOILER... Not enough Jade whatsover. If I could choose between FuckBuddies between Sage and Jade I would choose Jade everytime. I think Jade deserves a good nightcap scene every update.

Maybe the DEV could add a WeBCam feature to add scenes with certain girls like Swyper?? Now that would be a cool feature and addition.

with neutral affiinity you can get all the main girls, only jill requires chick affinity for an extra scene iirc, if are a dik you can fool around with a lot of side girls but you will lose josy and maya (for now)

In all honesty episode 5 had some great sex scenes and hints of future sex advances. It also gave us new plot since now we finally got into DIKs it seems like MC would be working his way up the ranks, maybe even become VP of DIKs. So as far as plot and sex scenes go this episode is still miles ahead of any other game. But.. as many of us here noticed it seems like scope of game just got smaller. Like instead of having so many possible routes we are merging them back in one. Personally I think we were all just too hyped and expected too much, this game is still way above everything else we got. Also episode 4 was IMO very good and felt like there is so many routes to go down.

meh, i'm a bit torn with them, after episode 4 and the awful resolution you get if you are a dik i expected things to be different with them, instead when they appear in episode 5 they casually talk and joke with the mc like nothing ever happened josy even asks for your help, she wants you with her as a support and only thinks to maya after she asked you, that was extremely weird, then they both drop the bomb and tell you that despite rejecting the mc they still have strong feelings for him, i didin't expect this so soon tbh.

ya they put far to much hype and hope into the game with how great first 4 episodes were , but I think all need to just wait to see how episode 6 maybe even 7 go before any real judgment can be made.

Terrific game and here hoping it did not try and bite more then it could chew or downgrade more and more both of which can be seen to often in many other games, but this 1 one the best so ... here really really hoping.

See, that’s worrying me a little bit. By merging all the routes and somewhat involving MC with everyone this “we’re not putting labels on it” dance has to continue.

I’m worried all the relationships are going to tread water just before being “official” so you can be dating multiple women. Everyone’s still dating Jill right?

I dunno, I just don’t want 5 more episodes of will they won’t they with Josy/Maya holding back other relationships. Same for Jill. The routes are going to have to diverge at some point so you’re not just cheating on everyone.

Truth right there. A lot of people, even those who might claim they predicted everything perfectly in this episode, thought we'd get the resolution to the Cathy pic incident, there would be a reward scene for getting the most Hell Week points, we'd find out who sent the Cathy pic, and that we'd get the Scavenger Hunt threesome, none of which ended up happening.

I just don't think anyone even remotely considered that we'd only get an evening and half a day's worth of in-game time, as packed full of content as that was.

I don't know how people can still not like them after this episode, especially if you're still on their route or did it just to have a complete scenes gallery. The ep 4 scene still stinks, but they had some great moments in this episode. I also like the fact that we never once saw them kissing either, almost like DPC heard the complaints about that ep 4 scene and decided to not get people annoyed again. I honestly thought that when I went back into the room with the champagne that they'd either be making out like crazy or half-naked and making out like crazy, and I did not want to see that because I'm still hurting from that ep 4 scene.

I wonder if Josy and Maya will really become HOTs in one of the next episodes or if they both decide to abort their pledge (due to Quinn's business model) and instead maybe found their own sorority with other girls who dropped out, e.g. Ashley, Mona, ... Maybe even Jill would join that sorority after Bella's story about the OMGs?

It really boils down to perspective I guess. Personally I still wish there was an option to outright ignore them and the whole forced resolution at the end of the previous update felt dumb. But both are main heroines so they aren't going anywhere anytime soon unless there's a house fire. And as people mentioned more variable routes means more work for the dev in the long run.
