I can't see how you can pitch josy as 'running straight to Maya'.the situation is that. Josy cheated on Maya in a difficult time, but as soon as she got the chance, she runs to her.
Maya has had a good time with MC and has also made some serious thoughtson him, then she finds Josy and ends everything
these are two common situations, of course less common they occur simultaneously ...
when MC freaks out does one of the two girls tell him that she feel something for him? and they both speak directly to him without the presence of the other. no, but as soon as he leaves they immediately make peace between them
once Josy is in BR is there ever the hypothesis that one of the two girls gets involved with MC?
the relationship between Josy and Maya is clearly stronger, there is nothing wrong with it, it is so
On the second date with Josy when you ask her about getting into B&R she says "If I had I would be outside your dorm jumping for joy"
Then when it happens it's MC she phones, It's the MC she wants to stay with and she merely gets alloted a random dorm that just happens (for story purposes) to be Maya's.
Even then she scarpers out to the Toilet, texts MC and during that talk she curses the odds and asks "what are we gonna do"
I'd say that all her talk and action up to this point have her wanting to pursue the MC over Maya and it's only when MC storms out that she falls back in with Maya.
Even then she's the first to try to mend the bridge via text and later on (if you take the path of friends/meet dad/luggage) she pretty much admits to not wanting to be the odd one out and ending up with no-one and not having a choice in the matter.
Maya's opposite scene (not helping with luggage) is a lot more constrained and is just that she doesn't want to deal with the complication that is the MC. therefore I'd say the path to a Josy only path is a lot more viable based on the writing and timeframes then it is for a Maya only route
