I'm downloading the patch (hopefully it works with 0.5.0 cause that was the last time I downloaded). If it doesn't I'll just grab the compressed version later tonight and play it this weekend. I've waited awhile, so I'm excited for this.

I did this but scenes are still locked.

make sure you replace the persistent file in both the game save folder and system save location which is something like this
C:\Users\Home\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BeingaDIK-1535311494

Not sure whether you were referring to me or other people but I wasn't whining. Simply thought asking for help was a lot faster way to get some answers than going through hundreds of posts. Thanks anyway for the info.
