It's Not just a great porn game, but a great game in general with a great story and well developed characters, it's also very long so unlike many other unfinished game you won't go through it in an hour and be done with it

Derek is the best fucking sidekick, I can't not laugh every scene he's in. DPC does them very well, Acting Lessons had a great one too.

Honestly I don't know where you've been if you still haven't played this one. IMO it's the best VN out there. Choices that matter, great story, great humor, best renders, best girls and best animations. I wish I was in your shoes and could play this for the first time again lol.

Download the save file that i shared down below with ( persistent.rar ) ( 1-12-LT1.save ) place both of them into your: BeingADIK-0.6.0-pc\game\saves
(dont paste the persistent.rar instantly, paste the file in the rar to the save folder.)
Once you download it. Go to save file in game, load it then press the left mouse click continuously untill you see end credits. After that, go to main menu check the rewards section for all renders and all sex scenes. If you have any problem feel free to message me.

I feel the same as you. I think it comes down to expectation vs reality, as Thanos said, "reality is often disappointing". The expectation here, at least for me, was that whilst this would have some drama, we'd have relatively unrestrained freedom to do whoever we want with little consequence, at least in the early goings. But the reality is that the game punishes players who try to have the whole cake and eat it too, but even punishes players who try to have just half of it.I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that the update feels so empty. I didn't expect to feel such a void inside over this game lol. Just checked my scenes progression with my only run so far, it's 7/20, so I'll have to do re-runs obviously but it won't progress that much in the story
I guess I'll have to wait for the walkthrough to continue my other saves. Not sure I'll find the will to do them all already, I have to wait for the void-feeling to go away.
There are so many moments in this game that leave me scratching my head as to why we should be locked from doing certain things, like helping Quinn in this episode. Why it requires you to be on the DIK path is somewhat baffling because a player could have done several things with Quinn, like have the threesome with her and Riona, stay at Sage's and get most of that scene with her, smoke with her on the roof, text with her in Ep 5 and show concern, all these things that you would think would endear her enough to the MC to make her accept his help, yet she doesn't just because you're not DIK affinity. It's like the M&J ep 4 scene all over again.
I honestly think that limiting the player's options and interactions based on the DIK/CHICK scale and on being in certain relationships is fast becoming a major downside to this game because 9 times out of 10, there's no reason why, story and narrative wise, the MC or certain other characters should not do certain things just because of this. The type of character the MC is, both at a base level and what you make him, is very often not a character who wouldn't do something or who other characters wouldn't want to do something with yet we are forced to see what could be considere unnatural character moments for arbitrary reasons.
From looking at the game files, I'd guess it's part of the friendship path because Josy is giving him a hand and thigh job, most likely for faking the threesome and public sex parts of their list.
No, and the official one won't be out for 2 more weeks.

I finally finished episode 6.... We're getting in the dilemma zone and it hurts like a motherfucker .
Well, update shedule before this update was about 4 months. This one took a bit longer.
So next update will propably be around march/april next year.
I don't know how many episodes are planed, but apparently BaDik is planed as a series and this is only season 1. If you look at steam where you can buy the game it's called "Being a DIK: Season 1" and the description states that it will have more Seasons in the future.
