Maya at least has the excuse of a being an 18-year old student. It has become more and more common to dress, um...freely? Especially if they have the body for it. And increasingly even if they don't. Look at how people dress on public transportation now. In the 40s and 50s folks used to wear their best to fly on a plane, now they wear pajamas or worse. All sense of decorum has vanished. Even when I pick up my victi....I mean..uber fares, yeah that's it co-ed uber fares from campus it's difficult to tell them from my normal viti...I mean prostitut...I mean working women that I kidna...I mean give free rides to isolated, witness-free places.

The part that gets me even more than the way Bella dresses is the fact that hardly anyone on campus seems to take notice of her beyond comments about her being mean. In reality, mean or not, if someone looked and dressed the way Bella does, the library would be the most popular place on campus.

I can see how Josy fans - especially those that have not much fondness for Maya - would be displeased with being forced into this situation.

People who are fans of neither Josy nor Maya tend to lump the "pair or nothing" situation under the same roof. The whole Maya-MC thing has been debated to death so I won't get into that. However, the MC-Josy dynamic was very different and just lumping her there by association does Josy a disservice.

Josy is way more upfront, consistent in what she says and not afraid to make decisions. In fact, she had already made the decision to pick the MC over her current relationship even before she got together with the MC in her parents bedroom...and she said so.

And she was telling the truth. When she learned that she got in, she did indeed call the MC first to ask to stay with him not Maya. It is not her fault that the MC was a campus hobo. Additionally, promises were made during that call.

A promise she still intended to keep even after showing up at the dorm when she texted the MC to meet her in the restroom. It was the MC who reneged on his promise by getting into a hissy fit and storming away instead of listening.

i.e. Josy told us from the very first date that she was in a relationship. By the second date she made it clear that she was picking the MC and then she tried hard to make the pair-up happen. If anything, the obstacles were all from the MC's side.

I really disliked the fact that we got them in a pair instead of letting us choose what we want, if we either want to break up or be with both of them or just one.

While I agree that for those that only wanted Josy, being able to pick her w/o Maya should have been an option (or vice versa), the crux of the matter is that DPC needs to keep Josy and Maya together (for now) whether that be with or without the MC.

He still has a lot of plot to go regarding the "Maya's Dad vs lesbians" drama - which would kind of be torpedoed if MC took Josy away and left Maya with neither an existing lesbian relationship to hide from dad nor therefore an immediate need to seek an alternate source for her tuition money. Thus, we got the choice that we got in the library, unfortunately.

I have a theory about Lily, that she's going to be the part of the big twist. I'm getting some major mystery vibes off of her. Probably not some sort of psychotic stripper out to get revenge on MC ( I mean, that twist is already done), but I can see her being a narcotics undercover.

Ya I get the same feelings about Lily.

I heard a character in a movie say, "if you treat a lady like a whore and a whore like a lady you'll never go wrong with women," or something to that effect. The whore like a lady part likely applies to Quinn. I doubt she's ever been shown any kindness (partly due to her upbringing and partly due to her attitude which pushes most people away) so when MC pushes past her attitude and shows her kindness, she's drawn to him.

Ya I think that's one of the reasons I enjoyed the texting exchange with Quinn toward the end of CH6 - it's kinda funny watching her try to maneuver throughout that back and forth, trying so hard not to show her feminine side and then MC does exactly what I would have done in that situation and essentially tells her in so many words that he likes seeing she has a girly side. We'll probably start to see some of those changes from her, at least when she interacts with MC privately.

i think its time to address the real inequality in here! Josie as never been serenaded by the MC! 1st kiss 1st balls deeps but not a song, that girl is a cheap whore, in comparison Bella and Jill have been serenaded 2 times (if you pick that timeline) and they did not put out! Sage if one ponders the lessons has been 2-4 times already, all girls got their show except Josie and yet...

perhaps that is why guys like Josie so much its like the least high maintenance girl of all the LI except that you have to put up with Maya... she should learn that she as value on her own she is beautifull without Maya, and Maya should be kissing her feet and thanking god everyday that someone like Josie even gives her the time of day! Seriously if Maya was a dude ... just think it already!

If Maya was a dude seen how aggressive she can get and how petite and innocent Josie is sometimes, she would be a domestic abuse victim and everyone would be shitting on Maya but since she´s a girl its just a Girls will be Girls attitude, this toxic behavior as to be called out, Josie deserves a serenade from the MC and Maya as to start giving that poor thing more sexual release and less grief and sorrow, Josie deserves more and better!

Weird, to me the proportions scale properly.

Like you said Josy is petite, while Jill is fairly tall and thiccer. So together Josy is meant to look small in comparison.

But I see what you mean that Jill looks taller or Josy looks smaller when together compared to the MC’s perspective. It’s probably just a perspective thing, if we had a 3rd person view of MC with those girls, Josy would still look as tiny and Jill would scale to his height (almost).

Nora's at least 32 (she wrote 32 on her Swyper profile - no woman ever exaggerates their age, so she's either 32 or older). Jade's unlikely to be much more than early 40s. So for her to be Nora's mom, she'd would have had her when she was around 10 years old. I'm guessing they're not related. I'm also guessing Nora was some big-titted woman the MC chatted up online and they hooked up in a pub and Nora isn't related to any other character in the game.

Imo what should've happened is that they don't rush into a relationship and the MC takes his time to decide but gets an agreement from both girls that whatever he chooses isn't gonna affect their friendship, but I know it's hard since they're all together which is why I'm disappointed in the storyline that was presented for both Josy and Maya.

I would say the scene provides far more insight to her character than the previous ones. Yes her attraction toward the MC was obvious from the start but the scene was played in way that consolidates the MC is her only real source of comfort and her only meaningful relationship. So far, she has been her own worst enemy. By never dropping her bitchy and arrogant persona, she has subconsciously pushed everyone away. She saw Tommy as a friend but she still pushed on his buttons, lied to him and ruined his trust. She's Sage's confidant but she still plots behind her back all the time and acts like a poor friend. She mays value Riona as her right hand and probably best friend but she still acts abusive and manipulative. Her overall family and growing environment seem pretty fucked up but she ruined her actual relationships by herself. She's the one to blame.

It's not that I disagree with any of that, I just don't find it new. In my opinion, Quinn's character was clear by Episode 4 when we saw her 'criminal mastermind' act was a bluff and her interest in the MC was real. From that point it was obvious that any eventual 'romance' with Quinn was going to be about placating her bravado until she was willing to admit to her actual feelings. And sure enough that's just how her scene in Episode 6 plays out (though she still won't admit her feelings).

So I totally get why Quinn fans like it, because it's a well-executed step forward in her arc with good music and good visuals (not that those are unusual in this game). But since I'm not a Quinn fan I don't really care about that. I don't like mean people, and Quinn is all about being an asshole; again, the point of this scene is to play along and validate her persona so that Quinn will let her guard down. I can sympathize with her rough childhood but I don't want to spend time with her until she stops being an asshole. Nothing in the scene indicates that's happening any time soon.

As I mentioned before, the only unexpected part of the scene was the implication that Quinn is so jealous/resentful of Maya in particular that she'll never let her guard down for an MC on Maya's path. At a base level that was obvious from day one, but this suggests it's a much bigger issue than it initially appeared. Until this scene, it hadn't occurred to me that Quinn may have only agreed to have rooftop sex for fun because she knew the MC and Maya were fighting at the time.

(And before Holy Bacchus has to remind me, I agree that is very much open to interpretation. I just find this interpretation much more interesting than the usual blind eye the MC's conquests are given.)

I've been writing this week and spent a few days working on a lewd scene (writing and posing static renders and animations).

I have approximately 10-15 animations left to pose for that scene. 209 animations have been posed in total, out of which 198 are fully rendered. So far, 25620 animation frames have been rendered for episode 7.

I spent some time playtesting the episode as well, and it is shaping up in some areas while feeling incomplete in others. As it stands right now, the written content for the episode is marginally shorter than for episode 6, but I have ~15-20 scenes left to write.

I have speculated before that episode 7 will be bigger than episode 6 and now I can say for sure that it's true. How much bigger and if the end of writing the script is in sight are the real questions, and I don't know the answer yet. All I know is that the episode will include a good deal of content regardless of how you play the game.

In poll news, there was a $30 poll for an extra wallpaper that ended in a tie between Josy and Isabella. It's the first time that a poll has ended in a tie, and I have never thought of what would be a tiebreaker. Since it would feel disrespectful to patrons who voted to call only one of them the winner, I've decided to order one extra wallpaper of both Josy and Isabella for episode 7.

Since I forgot to mention Josy's wallpaper before, I'll say it now. I don't think it's her best look, but Josy pulls it off even though the background is a little overpowering. Her new haircut is growing on me too, though I hope it remains the exception rather than the norm. What I actually find most notable is her shirt. That is a very different attire than she normally wears.

But the fact that I'm noticing Josy's wardrobe speaks volumes to how lackluster this wallpaper set has been. I'm definitely not feeling the urgency to hunt for them in game when Episode 7 is finally released.
