Even tho Jade loves her kids (she said thats the reason she has stayed with Burke for so long) i have a feeling she thinks Tybalt is a lost cause.
mc: "How do you do it?"
Jade: "I think about what's important. My career and kids."
Jade: "The love for my husband is low priority compared to that."
Jade: "And these days, it's as low as it can get."
I'd forgotten about that conversation. The fact that she says "kids" adds fuel to the whole, "Sage and Tybalt are siblings" theory.
Is there anywhere that gives the disctinct impression that she's not too impressed with Tybalt?
The only conversation between the two that I recall is:
Jade: "I know, I know. But I'm here now, am I not?"
Tybalt: "Is that what you chose to wear?"
Tybalt: "I was hoping for something a little bit more...expensive."
Jade: "Don't give me lip."
Tybalt: "Pardon me, I'm on edge."
Tybalt: "All eyes are on me tonight. I can't afford to look like a fool."
Jade: "Mhm. Is Stephen here?"
Tybalt: "Yes, father is around here somewhere."
Burke: "Honey?"
Tybalt: "There he is!"
Jade: "Fetch mommy a martini, would you?"
Tybalt: "Oh! I just got a jar of olives fresh from the pantry."
Tybalt: "One martini is coming right up."
Doesn't sound too bad.
The flipside could be she's got it bad for Tybbles, hence the mother/son roleplay when mc first fucks Jade!
