This is exactly why the Maya & Her Father conflict needs to be wrapped up ASAP. It's such a boring conflict, and few people are actually invested in Maya as a character (It's a Maya conflict, not an MC conflict - she needs to deal with her own issues). Get it over with an out of the way so we can be on to better storylines.

I'm a firm believer that a good number of subplots need to be resolved each episode/season so new ones can be revealed at each cliffhanger ending. That's how most episodic shows and books do it...because it's a formula that works.

Sadly, I'm getting the sense that DPC is going to keep each of the main LI's individual dramas going for a long time instead of resolving some and then introducing new ones.

LI dramas we have:
Maya's dad and $ problems
Bella's locked room & James issues
Sage's obsession with Chad
Jill's Tybalt problem and her desperate need to blue ball MC

If these aren't moving towards a conclusion or at least progressing more quickly by the end of ep. 7, then I think we're going to be stuck with them for a while.
Praying these will wrap up by season end (ep. 8).

I'm pretty sure %70 of the people in this thread focus on the story progression and while lewd scenes being important, from the amount of theorycrafting we all do, it should be plain to see that most people here don't really put it in number 1 priority.

I'm in the 30% then. . first and foremost, This is a porn game for me, a porn game with a half decent story , but still a porn game. Without the porn aspect, I would not bother with it at all .

I would put money on episode 8 ending with James return. That would be an easy way to go out on an "OH SHIT" moment and at the same time keep people interesting in season 3.

Agreed 100%. The daddy drama does nothing for me.

I want Maya to come out of this mess redeemed but she's not that sort of character. She needs to be rescued because that's what the "nice guys IRL" want in their stories.

I lean towards the mannequin theory, but it still doesn't explain why the pants are tucked in to the boots which are laced up. You don't typically do that when you hang up clothes.

Completely wrong. Maya and Josy have been in a relationship for well over a year prior to the start of this game because that camping trip was the previous summer, not the summer before starting at B&R.
