And that's how DPC gets you. He did the same song and dance routine with Quinn in ep. 6 for a lot of people. I have to admit that he is pretty good at making players feel sympathetic towards previously hated characters. Fortunately, ol' Kellermann doesn't fall for that bullshit so easily. I've spent countless hours playing his games, so I'm like a Hutt at this point. Those Jedi mind tricks don't work on me, no sir. My guard is constantly up because I know if DPC ever entices me down a particularly intriguing or seductive path, that means he often intends to bring it crashing down on me later.

I actually just played that scene with Quinn yesterday on my revised manwhore save. I always chuckle to myself when DPC gives me the Vag/Anal choice. I'm like, really DPC? Surely you should know me better by now. And Quinn's nose wasn't the only thing beat up and sore after that night. Hate fuck for the win.

Deep down I'm fully aware that this might be the case but I'm making a conscious attempt here to not be as cynical as ol' Kellermann.
Does anyone know of the current progress of the game? Can't really find the page where it was said due to the debate about the modding thing.
Just my two cents, I'd always rather play the game blind on my first run through. If the story is interesting enough and choices matter, I don't really try to cheat even on subsequent playthroughs (note: I have played this game about 4 times now from the beginning due to losing my save file just because the story is rather engaging). Sure I peaked at some walkthroughs for hints about the money or a guide for the house restoration (which I still don't fucking get).
Though I will say, there are some games where you NEED a cheat mod where the game is grindy as hell, the choice doesn't make logical sense to the player, no actual impact to the story, or the game is just a nukige.
Anyway, would really appreciate any news.

I just played through with some walkthrough assistance, after playing the first two episodes without the assistance the first time. Why? Because some of the big decisions in my mostly 70/30 DIK/CHICK run were unbelievably skewed towards being a CHICK. It just didn't feel good having to make the big decisions in a manner I don't feel like in the big picture even just roleplaying as the MC. I would probably have gone for the CHICK route, but my gut was telling me Sage so I did choose rougher responses for the most part. The game and story were fun as hell, and I'll 100% replay, but I don't know, a lot of the big decisions felt like some satanic renegade playthrough in Mass Effect where you kick babies and shit.

It was a productive and focused week; I've been working on lewd scenes for the better part of it.
We're up to 3157 produced static renders and I have posed a total of 280 animations. Of which, 247 animations have been fully rendered, and 33 are waiting to render.
Next week, I will continue working on the remaining 2 lewd scenes for the episode, including static renders and animations.
My current estimation is that I have 40-60 animations left to pose for the remaining lewd scenes.
My plan at the moment is to finish the manual work on all animations, building up the final animation queue, and then proceed to work on everything else.
Some other details I can share about the current state of the episode are:

- 26 new licensed songs and 3 CC0 licensed songs have been added.
- 24 new sound effects have been added.
- Code-wise, counting free-roam events, the episode is closing in but is still smaller than episode 7.
- Story-wise, based on the main files, the episode is now bigger than episode 7.

I am bored. Therefore, there is from me, for you, an Unterhaltsamme story. This is very long and I hope so that you on time for the release of EP8 finished with reading.
I don't know if anyone else of you feels the same as me. The MC is logically the center of the story of BaD. But somehow the path from the MC feels like everything is being fed or facilitated to him. The MC is the "Limited Edition." I came up with the following through a conversation Isabella had with the MC.
MC "To learn about women's issues and more."
Isabella "Hm...ironic."
MC "How so?"
Isabella "Because you are one of women's issues."
MC "Haha! Thanks!"
Let's take a look at the EP8 preview of Maya. Some, maybe all, assume that Maya comes from Burke's office. But I think or can imagine that nothing sexual happened. Maybe Maya only learned from Burke who the MC really is. By the way, I can also very well imagine that the Chicken MC will get much more to fuck in the future. What if Josy and Maya thank Sage for her help in a special way. With a nice movie night at the MC. His premises are large, as is his TV, which is not broken. The MC orders some pizza, Josy comes over with Maya and Sage. The rest will fall into place. That would be a walk of shame. Josy, Maya and Sage.
Hopefully EP8 comes soon so I can turn off my head cinema.

I think the next big switcheroo will be one of the main LIs. Maya has always seemed like someone just waiting to do a 180. Of course there is Bella, but that would be a little too predictable if she goes full Leah. Jill could be, but again, too cliché. Good girl gone bad? That's tired. Josy already has two sides to her personality (naughty and nice). Sage is moving from fuck buddy to clingy girlfriend. Not sure how I feel about that yet. Anyway, my money is on Maya. I also always do my first playthrough completely blind. I have a specific save for that, my canon playthrough. I choose as if I were in the story. Then I branch out from there doing LI-specific or alignment-specific playthroughs. Finally, I use the official walkthrough to pick up any scenes that I missed or if I want to redo parts of a playthrough to get the best content with a certain girl. I paid for both season 1 and the official walkthrough on steam, so I don't feel like I was cheating or ripping off the dev.
I never use porn game mods, but I don't have the visceral hatred for them that some people seem to have. If someone wants to use a mod, who cares? I don't see why a dev should get that bent out of shape about it. Once a game travels off into the ether of the internet, you can't control what happens to it, so why lose sleep over it? People are going to jack your code, your renders, your story ideas...and of course pirate it no matter how much you fight against it.
In DPC's case, if he just simply enjoys writing mod-killing code for fun, then I guess that's fine, but if he is doing it because he truly hates mods and thinks he can somehow discourage or put a stop them, well then
He must view it as a vandal coming in and throwing a bucket of blood red paint all over his Mona Lisa.
