Also, everyone acts like Maya's a user and abuser of people but she doesn't ask for help. You offer help. Does she ask for help with her scavenger hunt? No does mc offer it? Maybe depending on relationship. And the whole joining the HOTs in the first place was her trying to handle it herself not using anyone or asking for help. Did Maya help the MC in his time of need? Yes for a night as a favor for Derek the rest of his stay in her dorm was because she wanted to help the MC out.
They act like she's some cloak and dagger villain and i honestly don't understand it she's a reclusive low-self esteemed girl, That's all. Maybe it's because she's not the common trope. Sage the trashy girl. Bella the Naughty Librarian. Quinn the broken girl. Jill the good girl. Josy the summer crush.
Maya simply doesn't play into a common trope because wall flowers are usually just that in adult visual novels. It all boils down to empathy. If you have it you can understand every decision she makes. If you don't you judge her because you have nothing better to do. Every Decision she makes is deep seated in her. Her getting mc tazed(overly trusting). Her not being happy about Josy's dads reaction. (She would have died and gone to heaven if she had even got a good job from her dad for being valedictorian after being picked on all through high school by kids and then going home to deal with her dad who says he wish's she'd never been born.) Sage, pried into her life by opening up about maybe her boyfriend troubles maybe something more towards how she feels being an orphan not released yet what the conversation entailed. Again she was offered help.

My point is she's not a pity party she takes what is offered to her she doesn't ask for it. People look at her actions without thinking of her as a character with feelings and emotions behind it and I'll tell you one thing that sets Being A Dik apart from most other visual novels. All his characters seem to have been brought to life in my humble opinion. They seem to have a life we are privy to look into. Some may say this is too much for an adult visual novel, but I think it's a plus knowing that this game could probably stand as a standard romance novel with all hentai scenes removed. Again, ill mention and sorry DPK but his first game not even the main character felt real to me. They had no soul. I didn't care about a single character in that game and one of them was dying of cancer. It was poorly done in my humble opinion, but this game and that game are like night and fucking day. He went from making me care about none of them to caring about the side characters. Shout out to Monah Riona and Camila hell even Lilly.

She made a favor to MC. MC could simply tell her dorm situation as well if he wanted to, and since mine is a bad guy he probably would. She left him stay and then used him in the middle of the night to get into the hots. Her way of solving her problem was believe in a rumour that someone would just pay her tuition for her.
Also She "didn't ask for help" but she was whining about it. Did you see MC whining about the things he had to do? He just did. So everything you are talking is bulshit. Sage prying is her just doing her job as HOTs president. Sage wouldn't pry if she didnt apply to be a HOT and then leave crying like she did. FUnny the people who even try to help are the bad guys now lol. If no one help her what will happen to her, think about it, because she isn't doing anything. She will either lose the girl she loves or Her dad will find out and cut her off.

In DPC first game I cried a lot, first with the guy having cancer and MC entering his house and the house was empty because he had to sell everything he had. Secondly with the girl's death. It wasn't the characters that had no soul. You have no soul. That is why you like this selfish girl and is still trying to argue with what I think.

So you went to a university, paying a monthly fee? Not like a flat tuition. You sure you're not thinking about a community college? Or paying off your student loan monthly like Maya cannot do because she has bad credit because of her father. And can't take out two loans. Not to mention the Job you're telling a lesbian to do is become a hooker to get through college which I mean possible but someone with her issues don't think it'll happen though it would probably boost her confidence after the first few clients.

I know to which college I went bruh. In my country, there is no such a thing as community college. You either go for a public college, where you don't have to pay for anything. No montly payments or tuition or loan, whatsoever. Or you go to a Private College, where you pay for everything. In here you usually choose the course, lets say it will cost around 40k. You pay in montly parcels including fees or if you get a government loan or institution scholarship. They can cover from 30% to 100% of your tuition costs (depending on your financial situation). I didnt get the government loan at the time, so I tried for the institution scholarship and I got it after 2 years paying 50% per month. But when I started college I had to pay full price and that was around $ 937.
What I mean is, she is not even trying. When she went to college she already knew about her situation. The first thing she did was believe in a rumour and then trust in something that the person she trusts less (Quinn) in the college told her. How stupid is it? After that, what was her next plan of action? None. I didnt say she should be a hooker. I said a lot of things, but never said she should be hooker. I told other girls do that to pay their tuition and those jobs gives a lot of money. The only job I suggested to maya would be talk to the librarian, and when I mentioned it, I said maybe the job won't pay for the tuition but isabela could help her in some other way after knowing her situation. She could have a place to stay and eat, who knows? And then doing some jobs as the diks did, get enough to pay for her tuition or maybe someone else could help after knowing her situation. Pink Rose girls could have her hired pouring some drinks instead of being stripper or anything like that (again these are my ideas, whatever happens in maya's path is already written by DPC).
