Now I have to watch Zoey or whomever these two rando fuckheads are working in a tattoo parlour? It's bad enough I probably have to sit through a surfing mini game in the ocean (dodging waves or whatever), but now I have to watch the drama of tattoo business like one of those mind-numbing reality tv shows? What does any of this have to do with B&R? I don't care about Zoey's backstory living at beach. I'd really like to see a preview render of the Interlude that increases instead of decreases excitement and provides some kind of purposeful link to the world of B&R beyond just: hey, Zoey is in it. Let's watch her sniff paint and whore around san Diego until she runs out of money and comes to the conclusion that she misses MC and and/or Neil's big dicks.
Some more preview shots and a good description of what exactly we are getting with the Interlude would alleviate a lot of concerns.
P.S. And even if you do get overly attached to these new characters, it's a one and done for all of them except Zoey. The entire cast isn't picking up and moving to B&R. You're never going to see these people again after the Interlude.

I'll bet the main premise is going to be Zoey working her way into the BIG surf competition...Ooohh, Ahhhh. You have to train up her skills in the ocean (mini game) while working at Hep B Tattoo joint and occasionally sucking off or scissoring your co-workers. Then 6 (real world) months later with only the introductory episode 9 left for this year all that setup was probably just for her to be some homewrecker in MC's relationship and maaaybe that's what season 3's mini game is gonna be about - avoiding temptation with Zoey or something.

I think I'll cancel my subscription. One update a year is a delusion and a diagnosis. But apparently that's how it's going to be. I hope he doesn't die before he finishes the job.
The fact that he says that he is a creator and does not want to rush so as not to break the narrative is of course correct, but this is getting worse every year. We can reach the point where one update can take even a year and a half, lol. All this will bite him in the ass someday.

and why can't party planning reuse the existing mansion mini-game? like, you know, you have rooms in the mansion and send DIKs to decorate them for the party while also having to earn money to buy booze. fuck, you could even trigger the party planning through a phone call or meeting with Sage and have some tasks that can only be done by HOTs, you don't need a different mini-game for that. same for classes, you already have a math mini-game that has nothing to do with math, just change the images to some different colored vials and you'll have a mini-game for science class. he already has more than 10 mini-games there, it's not like he can't use the same minigames in the new season
His mini games are connected to the story, you genius. That's why he create new ones, and he enjoy creating it. The mansion is finished, so we don't need it anymore. We probably Get something related to the party planning and economic. The Laptop had some interesting folder, that implied these.
We also Finished the Gender class, do we probably getting a new Class with new mini game.

He has said numerous times there will probably be four chapters. How many episodes that means is anyone's guess. People getting mad about a year of time taken are also hilariously out of touch on how Daz works; mostly that it doesn't, especially for animation with physics. If this was blender you could leverage complaints about productivity versus presentation but Daz is effectively using PS with models as your renderer and it simply doesn't work particularly well at the style it's being used here. You get high granularity on presentation and initial work, but the rest is literally a taped together framework of patches, masking tape and peanut butter.
Daz is the VBulletin of renderers and works and acts accordingly.

The guy has proven to be good delivering content both lewd one and story one. True, surfers sucks, but college comedy suck as well. Maybe the guy achieve the imposible again. To make us interested in a stupid genre. Also, it's never really the topic, it's the execution.
Saying that I agree that the premise sound horrible. But it's hard to enjoy something if you were 3 months convincing yourself it was going to be horrible. Not couse the story, ithe idea could work perfectely fine, but for the porn. Blue haired lesbian? Not for me.
The good thing it's, is almost over by now, if the interlude release in febreruary we re done with it.

For example, the Pancake mini game mechanic is exactly the same as the Basketball minigame. And the Tennis mini game was the base for the beach ball minigame with Josy and Maya. You making an elephant out of a flea.
