In the others "route" i don't practice the song because it's not Jill who i'm focus in that walkthrough. In many of my saves i can't click the guitar in the freeroams

You can only practice Jill's song on 3 occasions: in Episode 4 (while staying with Derek/Sage/Bella), and during the first free roams in your room in Episode 6 and Episode 8. As I recall, you need to have practiced at least twice to help Jill at the concert.

You can also play the guitar for Bella and Jill in Episode 5 (if you stayed with Bella) and for Josy in Episode 7, but those don't count as practicing Jill's song.

I'm just guessing here and it could be way off depending on your answer.
But, when MC ask Jill out on a date for the very first time. You get a Question, whether you are truly like Jill, and that is why you do it, or you just doing it to Mess with Tybalt.

Because if you doing it just to mess with Tybalt, I would not be surprised if MC would not be eager to practice that song, and may be thats why you cant?
