Especially with the Maya situation. Was wondering why the hell MC didn't ask her "Why don't you get a goddamn job, Maya?"

But hopefully it'll all make sense in the end. Hopefully. Possibly. Maybe.
Thing is a lot of colleges/Universities have a certain place for jobs they usually have advertisements or someone you can go speaks to about any job opportunities but in this game, it's like they don't exist

That is a problem, the choice of very standard/safe leads is a bit of a miss.I understand the need to paint a contrast between characters to flash them out more but when the characters that suppose to serve as a tool - a brush in this metaphor, happen to be more interesting, have more potential, than it`s a problem because your lead starts to look even more bleak in comparision and the lack of choice to get ourselves involved with the more interesting characters becomes a source of frustration.

Now that I think about it,the drama does feel a bit forced, especially Josy,I can`t wrap my head around what was DPC thinking,he made her a face of the highest tier patreon,he devoted a lot of screen time to her and at the same time put her at probably the least favourable circumstances...(?)
I appreciate the comedy though and every scene with Quinn has been worth it so far
I agree completely.

If it wasn't for Quinn and all that going on with the HOT's I wouldn't bother with it at all.

That's the word I was trying to think of for the main LI's, safe. Normally when I look at LI's in games I look for characteristics or quirks or even looks for what i'd go for IRL and I wouldn't look twice at the main 5. The problem is with pretty girls is they are a dime a dozen. I can walk through town and see a Jill or a Maya or a Bella, they don't stand out.

Quinn stands out.

That's what makes them boring to me. I'll see what 0.3 does for them personality wise but looks wise they are just typical pretty girls i've seen time and time again. Nothing unique.

Josy is one character I really don't like. Not a fan of cheats, if you don't want to be ain a relationship then break up with them. All she's shown me is she is willing to cheat and she can't be trusted for shit.

Thats another oddity.

I like Maya, but it just seems... Silly for her to jump into uncomfortable situations without trying for other normal ones.

An example: When Maya and MC go out to eat, if DPC would've had a small scene where Maya walked over to the cashier an asked if they were hiring, then we could at least see that she's trying the normal route. But instead, we get her jumping into situations shes not comfortable with just for a paid tuition.

Again, I like Maya, but that aspect of her story bugs me. MC is also a dickhead for not bringing up the job thing.

That`s how majority of voices here feel about her
irl if a gal would invite me on a date to reveal she already has someone that would be the end of that...how to call it,friendship, right there.
But
Judging by the effort,DPC put into "pimping" her out,I`m guessing he hoped she would be everyones favourite(y)

I always thought it was a normal thing to go looking for a job It's pretty much the first thing I looked for when I got accepted but I guess this with being a game common sense goes out the window

Probably just a choice the dev did with this game that others would choose differently. We can accept things that don't follow real life logic, but in Maya's case here clearly normal job applications that failed or didn't work out that forced her to get tuition through the HOTS would have sufficed.

Like a good plot-line would be she can't get jobs nearby no matter how hard she tries because of Quinn who has contacts to prevent her from doing so and always planned in getting her to join the HOTS instead to control her more easily.

I do like how both Quin and Maya were fleshed out so far. The first as the pimp druglord and the later as the one after money by whatever means necessary and as soon as possible.

But i do admit Josy is a bit strange to me. She seems like a walking plot device, the unrequited love from the protagonist's past who will come up later in the game to try and force a choice between any of the women you met (Maya, Quin, Sage etc) at the college and her. My guess is that she is the author's favorite. Maybe future updates will change my mind but so far she is not a romance option to me.

Ps: Bella and Jill didn't really had much screen time when compared to the other three (Quin, Maya and Sage), so i will hold some judgement on them until this happens .

Another believable scenario would be if, say, Maya and Derek's Dad was some rich asshole who shitted on the local businesses (brought some out, ruined others etc), so because of that, none would hire her.

But as has been said, perhaps we're thinking too rationally for porn game logic. :p

I know Josy has fans, but I always nope her scenes after finding out about her BF. Since she's willing to cheat on him, she'll definitely cheat on the MC. So that's an easy nope for me - permanently. :p

The forced drama is definitely one of the (very few :)) weak points of this game (like it was in Acting Lessons), there are a lot of moments where you can really feel the hand of the dev pushing the characters in certain directions to allow events to happen in a certain way even if it is contrived, this game has plenty of that: why the MC doesn't tell Maya the truth about Quinn, as she asked him, instead of saying "she's evil just trust me"? Why he decides to leave his dorm room after fighting with Troy instead of talking to him or getting another dorm room? And of course all the Maya money stuff people already talked about; obviously all this events are needed to make the plot happen but they could be written in a way that makes them feel less forced IMO.

I do wonder what if this is really the girl witch Chad was cheating with ?? it will make my disicion harder especially if i promissed Sage i would help her with finding out who chad cheated with.

Since this girl right here could spill what happens with mc with either the dik or Jocks. mc will be right in the middle. mc could even cheat with heather and get Tommy as an enemy and steal her again from chad making jocks permanant enemy.

This will afcource be total dik move.

This will be so funny since now you cucked both Chad and Tommy at the sametime. And banged Heather too. This game is called being a dik for good reason..

Game abandoned.
That's fucked up.. o_O I think many users would feel pretty bad if that ever happend before the game gets completed tag.. or a remaster..

Can you imagine that, dr pinkcake will make remaster and start again from scratch.. like we seen with pingpanda he made so many remasters that the users get so confused they dont even know anymore what game they are playing..
