If dpc could afford to hire VA, would you like to see the game voiced? I would defiently like it to be voiced. I see Jill, maya and josie having soft feminine voices. I see sage having a sexy voice, while bella has a serious strong sexy voice. While zoey has a strong latin accent along side camila.
for the afford part, well... DPC could easily afford that. There are speculations around how much money he makes with this game... we only can speculate, but the patreon page is more likely the smallest part of the money he makes. And even with that alone he could easily afford it and still would be able to live from it. Lets face it, he is a multiple millionaire by now.
Do i want voice over? Not one bit.
Visual Novels are like "Books" to me. And for me books will always be better than any film ever can be. why? Cause my imagination makes it so much better than the reality can show me.
I have "voices" in my head for every character in the game, I read the line and have it in my head. Would it be a voice over, the imagination would disappear, and a lot of time, it would be dissapointed with the voice i think.
If you start BaD there is a introduction by Jill, with voice over... and yep... and its not the voice i have in my head when i read something Jill says, in my head its more like a very calm and gentle voice, in this voice over she is very "squeaky" in my taste.
Well its a matter of taste of course... i do like that voice, but i think it would be more fitting to Josy for example.
Either way, voice over would kill a lot of my imagination, and i prefer it without voice over, cause its more like reading a book with visuals. therwise it would be more like a movie, and than i would miss moveable pictures... and the next question woudl be "why the fuck isnt it a Telenovela with porn in the first place, hire some actors dude"
But the most disturbing thing would be the lewd scenes, for sure... i dont know why, but talking while having sex is very strange to me, come on, really, anyone around here having sex and is talking all the time during it? I sure dont. (somehting DPc makes at least a little right, there is not much talking going on during the lewd scenes, but still way too much)
There are some VNs aorund here with voice over, and moaning sound and something liek that during the lewd scenes... and boy... they make me cringe everytime, no please, dont need it.
