Yea if you go to the main page and look under "Extras". There should be something like a "detected mod" fix or something like that.
I think he does that because he doesn't want people complaining to him about the game crashing if a mod messes up the save files on its own.

Of course, people can mod/cheat however they want, it's their business, I just don't see the point personally.

But seriously - if you're using some mod just be sure the mod updated to the game version. Just don't use modded saves on unmodded game - it will break.

The crash after the windows thing isn't a crash, it's actually a cheat check causing the game to quit.
I've attached a quick patch, but feel free to look for other calls to renpy.quit() (there's also a check for the filename 1NewCheatMod.rpyc as well as for the game running on Android).

EDIT: I've attached the patch corresponding to the 0.8.1 update. The one without a version in the filename is the original 0.8.0.
EDIT2: 0.8.2 added.
EDIT3. 0.8.2 SanchoMod version added.

No, I was mostly joking. Mostly. I originally thought we would see ep. 9 in October, but now November is looking more likely. DPC keeps adding more things. More renders, more scenes, more animations, longer animations (hell, we even have animations within animations now). He can't help himself. I'm just curious as to how many gigabytes this monster will be. All of us are going to have to deep throat it hard on download day.

P.S. The 27 animations within one animation sounds basically like a cut scene. I don't appreciate that in a lewd scene. It takes control away from the player and turns it into just watching a porn. If I want to watch a porn I'll do it. Here I want to retain some degree of sovereignty over what I am seeing (that is kind of the point of a visual novel format). I'll direct the action and forward progress thank you very much. This new animation technique sucks balls and seems to be getting more popular. Auto changing the angles and perspectives. Fuck right off with that bs. I much prefer being able to advance the lewd scenes (renders or animations) at my own speed, when I am ready...if you know what I mean.

It could easily be something like Maya's sneaking around scene at the party in ep.8, except with each bit animated instead of couple static renders for each step. So you retain control over when the switches happen, but it arguably provides bigger visual punch.

True, but he previously talked about doing this specifically within lewd scene animations (the different angles and such). That is what I am talking about too. I don't really care that much about SFW animations. Do whatever with those.

ok, I am confused...at the BIG question I had just 'Sage' or 'Others', no Jill dues to something I'm still baffled on, but then I get the message from here during her 3rd date with the moron and she seems put out I don't rush over and help. But in the WT it says if I'm not on her path then she would reject me anyway....so I'm baffled.
I actually wanted to be with Jill not sage, but that ship sailed a long time back (she never asked me to dinner). Game is too long and involved for me to go back that far to try and re-do Jill's path....WAY too long.

If you only had the options of Sage and others then you probably had DIK affinity, that locks you out of the Jill branch.You can speedrun a Jill branch pretty quickly if you make all CHICK decisions and don't chase other girls, you can use ctrl button to skip scenes. My Jill run (not my main save) took me about 30 minutes.

is that from the start to the end though? lot of choices to be made and dialogue to reply to...surely and there is free roam stuff you have to do later on where you have set tasks.....anyway...after finding out the shocker about Sage, I kinda want to see how that goes and will just play through like that.
