Lots of speculations about Bella being psycho - I don't buy it ...
yet I have the uneasy feeling that Vinny is still active behind the scene and he is salty - the damage he may be responsible so far:
1. Posting Cathy's photo - he knows the place - could of sneak in during the party
2. Attacking Quinn - she mentioned him being in the loop
3. Trashing the place then deflecting the blame to the 3-alphas - his brother Nick room wasn't trashed
And imho he is the one to cause some serious shit in the future - Quinn and Riona are in real danger.
How innocent or endangered is Nick in all that remains to be seen.
Knowing AL - some tragedy is about to happen.

It's not just fan hype but hints that DPC's has placed into the game that something wicked this way comes.
Derek and Sage has nothing to do with that scene.
The scenes that was from are...
Maya opening the door to Josy, which was something bad.
Quinn opening the door to Dawe to which he was there to tell her the Tri-A's would not be doing any business with her any more.
Bella opening the locked door, which is DPC's way of implying something bad is there too.
But you are right about one thing... after playing AL a lot of us just might be over hyping and expecting the worse.

So, I had a great theory about the Chad situation and the whole war coming in the HOTs... (I look up and see Sages hot body because of Kellermann)
My brain:
Well, who cares about Chad now anyways, the only thing we should be thinking is the fact that the relationship with Sage is finally ready to advance further, and hopefully, deeper and with a better grade than 3 out of 5

Sorry to un-derail the Chad conspiracy...
That's an interesting point. Possibly far fetched, but perhaps some of this "evidence" wasn't meant for Sage, it was meant for the Jocks. Perhaps Chad is pretending to be on a call with Sage (the Jocks think he is) to keep up the charade of being in a hetero relationship with Sage. It backfired though, because Sage saw it as something else. That's why he looked so shocked when Sage called him out for cheating during their breakup, because he really wasn't cheating with anyone. He obviously wasn't happy with Sage, he just used her to disguise his homosexuality. All that said, it did seem like he really was interacting with someone on the other end of the call, even pausing because he heard something and then telling them it was no one.
But some serious questions about Chad (my own answers are in red):
- Why was he with Sage for three years when he didn't even look interested in being with her way back before the DIKs were formed? Because Chad is gay.
- Sage complains that he needs to start getting more physical with her. Why has he never been physical with her from the get go but he's all about putting fingers in someone else on the call? Because he is gay.
- Why did Troy leave the Jocks? Because he is gay.
- How was Mel talking to Chad when she was on the treadmill in earshot of others? She wasn't, it's a ruse that Chad puts on to convince other's he's not gay (I'm thinking this is far fetched, but if you're gonna go with a conspiracy theory, why not go all in).
- Why would Chad be adamant that he is not cheating on Sage when she's accusing him of cheating during their breakup? They are breaking up, what is she gonna do if he admits to cheating, break up with him? He wasn't cheating. He probably wants to be with someone else but isn't actually cheating.
- Why is the story so specific about Chad being in the eastern wing after letting you know that was the wing you were staying in. Apart from specific locations like, "Dik's mansion", "HOTs house", "Prep's mansion", "Pink Rose", "Library", there aren't a lot of specific locations, but the eastern wing is specified. Is it a clue or just useless information? Because Chad and Troy are together.
- Where is Troy sneaking out to at night? To see Chad. Could totally be drug related too.
- Why does Troy want you out of the dorm so badly. Because he is gay.
- Why do the Jocks comment that they've never seen Chad seem so happy? They literally say, " I saw him yesterday, he seemed happy. It was weird. Never saw him as a positive guy". So Chad never seemed happy/positive around them, like ever? Why was that, and why is he happy now? Because he is gay and he doesn't have to pretend that he is straight when around them all the time anymore.
- What was the blackmail and why was it so bad that it brought Chad to tears in front of the MC? Something gay.
- As per Sage's complaints, why does Chad pay attention to Sage when others are around but not when they are alone? Because he's trying to convince people he isn't gay.
- Why does Chad have perfumed, lady's undergarments on his person? I'd say "Because he is gay", but that just comes across ignorant...
- We have a lesbian couple, where is the gay couple to balance it out? Chad and Troy, solved.
And the Mel theory? Seriously, who would break up with someone as hot, beautiful and now we find out rather intelligent (not to mention she's the president of the HOTs), like I was saying, who would break up with this heavenly creature to go with Mel. Mel is an easy lay, she surely sleeps around (remember Sage only started it as revenge for Chad, plus the mc is totally irresistible, just ask every other girl in the game, even lesbians can't resist him - OK he's struggling with the geekosphere a bit), and Mel doesn't even seem all that interesting...
No, Chad is gay!
I wonder if there will be a branch where the mc is bi...

What's the evidence supporting the Bella killer theory?

- More scary eyebrows.
Gay people in the closet is unfortunately even in this day and age not all that uncommon, but serial killers, definitely more of a stretch. No I just think she has some trauma in her past.

Yeah, incredibly popular on here. Why?
- I'd say the 3d art is consistently well above average. The females, which is what most people look for, actually come in bodyshapes that are mostly within the realm of realism (except for one, but not egregiously so). The male characters have all been paid attention to, as well as all the scenery and backgrounds.
- The story, while obviously a fiction based on fantasy, isn't so wild that you cannot suspend your disbelief. Dialogues and characters are well written, characters have personalities, feelings, and usually their own motivations. The game invites you to invest emotionally
- Combination of the above two increases the realism and immersion of the game, which makes the fantasy it presents more tangible. As opposed to the vast majority of games on here, which like to present a thin framework for a fetishised porn fantasy, this is one of the fewer games that tries to get the player to invest and get their minds and emotions involved. And that, to me, is the crucial difference between playing an erotic game and just going to get some porn.
The game also features a fairly large number of logic puzzles, memory games, secrets to be found, some quick time event based minigames, etc. They are, in general, wholly optional. I enjoy them (though I have beef with the English test ones) but you can deal with some of them by the cheat mechanisms provided, following the walkthrough, actually cheating through the console, or just turning them off entirely.
As for total playtime, kind of hard to gauge truly. Even though this is pretty close to a harem game, it isn't completely and there's several branches besides the main linear story that you cannot see all in oneplaythrough. Besides that your time spent could vary greatly on whether you play the minigames and whether you use a walkthrough or not. I'd say you could easily spend a week of multiple hours a day on it if you want to see everything.

Except I could answer each and every one of those statements with another reasonable, rational answer. There are not always rational answers to the Chad questions. Being gay is not far fetched, being a serial killer is.

Look to theorize and argue things like that, can I say that it could be, after all, who the hell believed that Leah was a murderous psycho whore? Nobody, she seemed like a normal girl, something obsessive but nothing more. I doubt that Bella is that, but she might have something different behind all that pretty facade/face.

No way, to what you allude to in in AL, I got weird vibes right away, her behaviour was totally unprofessional and crossed the line. Only because I blew her off early in the game (my first play through was a monogamous relationship with the original lead) that I totally forgot about her when things went down (plus you totally think it's someone else's abusive father), but she had psycho written all over her.

I can't find that quote again but I think DPC said in a FAQ/QA he wasn't interested into writing, rendering and animating gay (male to male) stuff, I doubt the MC will be bi. Which is also sad, who don't love a romance with a cute trap, City of Broken Dreamers have a really nice implantation of a character like that. Hey, who knows, maybe we will have a Swyper quicky like that?
