I have since improved this flowchart up to episode 8 (it's from my guide): the requirement is to sleep with Riona at least once (threesome with Quinn or Camila included) for her to trust the main character and ask him to watch over. This then leads to finding the stalker. Like Quinn and other side girls who have sex for money, it's difficult to tell how much she has feelings. For sure the demonstration of love from them will be reserved for the path "Others".

Oh I'm no fan of Sage's bizarre character swings at all (and continue to at the nonsensical threesome). Ep. 8 might be my least favourite of season 2, but I still really enjoy the dialogue between characters because it flows so well. The conversations (and related emotions) are genuine and seem like you could have them IRL regardless of the implausibility of some of the topics like loans and such. Most games on F95 I can't imagine myself in the MC's position, but BaDIK I can (well aside from banging 5 or 6 girls in a row at a mansion party). In a lot of other games I get the impression the dialogue is written by 15 year old virgin. In this one the girls act more naturally, which only comes from a writer with some life experiences outside of a masturbatory basement.

Yeah, the setup for the Sage/Quinn threesome was so horrible, it seemed like something out of a bad porn parody.

Why did MC get so scared at the end of S2? He and Jade are just fucking, they both know that, how it will affect the decision to help Maya? I was actually thinking that we gonna met MC Mother's dad, not expecting he's going to have a little dementia and forget where Jade live.

Also, wow finally can join you to discuss. 1.5 years of waiting for full S2 - it was so worth it, but leave so many thought at the end(Like what's the point for MC first GF to come back - where it's already a lot of "party girls" with unfinished stories) don't expect Episode 8 to finish so fast and leave me for another 2 years of waiting

Regarding all of the loan stuff, I never really let it bother me. Perhaps because I don't often follow the M&J route, but I just view it as a silly part of the game that I don't think about that much. When I think of the writing in game I focus on the interpersonal relationships and the conversations between the characters. That, to me, is where this game really shines. Unlike most F95 games where conversations are:
LL - "Oops my robe slipped and my big titty fell out!"
TN - "Whoa, landlady, my PP getting so much hard."
LL - "Really tenant? I will now commence handjob because both of your arms are broken for some odd reason and you'll die in 24 hours if you don't cum...because...Science! Hopefully your roommate won't come home early from her barista job at coffee shop. So I must wank fast.

My issues are only when DPC gets distracted from his university character relations and we are snatched away from B&R for superfluous actions like Zoey's san Diego adventures, D&G, or Lynette boring story time.

to be honest all the parts of the story that stray from the romantic relationships between the characters are quite silly....

Maya's loan
Tybalt's blackmail
Quinn's criminal plan

B&R has already been paid. Schools don't let students enroll without paying their bills at the beginning of the semester.

The payment schedule is moot. Whether Maya is on the hook now or after she graduates, she perceives the same problem. In fact, if loan repayment is deferred until after graduation (as is usual), then that just extends the leverage her father has over her throughout her studies as she accumulates debt.

Again, the issue is really not financial - Maya needs to confront her father to resolve this issue.

But Maya's reference to not having been able to ask advice from a lawyer or an expert seems to me to be a hint that it won't be like that, at least initially.

Although one could see MC's birthday party at the DIK's mansion as foreshadowing a scene with Arieth, I imagine the dialouge has framed the stigma around Arieth in a way that it'll only be played as a joke from here on out. BUT if it does happen, it'll likely happen in the "Others" route due to MC's man-whore nature.
